  • Hello everyone! I had promised to make a video about conditionals. Well, here it is. You will learn the basics about the four most common types of conditionals used in American English. They are the zero conditional (Type 0), the first conditional (Type 1), the second conditional (Type 2) and the third conditional (Type 3). There are many other types of conditionals, but don't worry about them right now. Just try to focus on these four and the rest will be easy for you. Good luck!

    I didn't mention mixed conditionals in this video. We can form mixed conditionals if the context permits it. All we do is combine an if-clause from one type of conditional with a main clause from another type of conditional.
    For example - here is a mixture of Type 2 and Type 3:
    "If you were more sensible, you wouldn't have spoken to your parents like that."
