    Interestingly, currently I am working on the conditionals and on CZcams there are a lot of suggestion about conditionals and this lecture was quite quite helpful. Folks must watch it with complete attention.
    Madam. I am confused in one of the condition I just found that in FB post some just posted it.
    If he was not her teacher, she would have fallen in love with him
    Is this 2nd conditional or 3rd? if this is 3rd conditional how can they use " he was " why not " had not been" let me clear it who posted it was talking about a TV serial aired in 70s so it's not unreal.

    My examples:
    S1. When the spring comes, a snow melts away and It gets warm. (Zero)
    S2. If you're late at work tomorrow, you'll get in trouble. (First)
    S3. If the people vote for me in the elections, I promise that I'll change the future. (First)
    S4. If you can't eat this dish because of allergy, you can always replace some ingredients with others. (Zero)

      In this sentence, it probably makes more sense to use the second conditional (it's a hypothetical situation) - and you used 'would' in the main clause so you are almost there already!

    Situation 1 - Zero conditional:
    When spring comes, flowers bloom
    Situation 2 - First conditional:
    If you're late tomorrow, you will have troubles with our boss
    Situation 3 - First conditional:
    If you vote for me, you will live better
    Situation 4 - Zero conditional:
    If you have a food allergy, you can always replace some ingredients (I was hesitating about this one but then I understood that it's a statement and it sort of happens always).

    Hi Emma!! I'm back here again. My examples:
    Situation 1: zero conditional.
    -Spring is the time when the plants bloom!!
    Situation 2: first conditional.
    - if you don't come to work tomorrow early, you will be in trouble.
    Situations 3: first conditional.
    - If you vote for me, I will build you a bridge. "Someone says 'but we don't have rivers', me " ah no? Ok no problem, I will build you a river too"😂
    Situation 4: zero conditional**
    - If you are allergiec to any of the ingredients, you can always use alternative ingredients.
    **I have doubst in sitiation 4. Zero or first consitional? Or my sentence is wrong?
    P.s sometimes it takes days for the link to translate your videos to appear or, worse, it doesn't appear. Or maybe it's me?
    Aliens exist, still far from our planet, but I am sure they are somewhere.😊

    Zero conditional - if you study hard, it gets easier for you
    Situation - tomorrow if you come late to work, you will fire
    zero conditional - You can change the ingredients if you have food allergies

      Great sentences - I've just made a couple of small changes to help you sound more natural!
      1. "Tom, if *it is* Spring in the North, *it is* Autumn in the South." (it's more natural to say it this way)
      2. "Hey Leo, if you arrive late tomorrow, you will *lose* your job."
      3. "If you vote for me, you will improve your quality of life."
      4. "If you have *a* milk allergy, you can replace *it* with soya."

      @@chaimaechaimae1178 It could be "vote for me" as well because "are voting for me" is grammatically a present continuous tense but its intention is future tense. So remember you can use present continuous to indicate future tense as well.

    Situation 2 first conditional. "If you want your boss to be happy, you will get to work early"
    Situation 3 fist conditional. "If you wear a mask, you'll save thousands of lifes" vote for me.

    Well, 1st situation's a zero cond it might be fomulated as the following: when the spring comes, flowers grow with diffrent colors... 2nd situation's a first cond: if you are late for work tomorrow, the boss will reprove you... 3rd situation is the first cond: If you vote for me, we will remove corruption away together... 4th situation is a zero cond: If you have a food allergy,change the ingredians with ones that are more appropriate for you... 🦋💜
