@@rababn3im300 Thank you !
"When spring comes, the gardens are greener" is not a conditional sentence.
Milk example on both zero and first condition and by putting the same sentence was awsome to understand the difference...very well done Emma
Thanks Emma! I add your presentation in my teaching materials so it does really help me.
After I watched today's lesson, I said, it would be very helpful to watch this again, and I found it extremely benefic.

Wow, thank you!
😅😅
Thanks a million Emma for this helpful lesson! I like grammar topics although I know exactly that not all learners also like them but it's basic of the basics and it's just necessarily need to know as thoroughly as only you can, to my opinion. This lesson is one what I was looking for so long. Finally I've found it. As we know better late than never!
I'm so thrilled to hear that! Thank you for your comment! If there is another topic you'd like me to teach, please let me know :)

Hi ma’m,
The way you illustrate grammar is really wonderful and it’s so easy to learn quickly.
It’s my pleasure to say thank u for your innovative ideas to present complicated grammar points in an easiest way..

You're a great teacher, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge 😍.
I AGREE WITH ASIF: "Extraordinary talented QUEEN OF ENGLISH"
Interestingly, currently I am working on the conditionals and on CZcams there are a lot of suggestion about conditionals and this lecture was quite quite helpful. Folks must watch it with complete attention.
Madam. I am confused in one of the condition I just found that in FB post some just posted it.
If he was not her teacher, she would have fallen in love with him
Is this 2nd conditional or 3rd? if this is 3rd conditional how can they use " he was " why not " had not been" let me clear it who posted it was talking about a TV serial aired in 70s so it's not unreal.
Hello Emma! I'm going to have a Cambridge English test and was a bit uncomfortable in this part of the grammar now I think I'm going to take over 90%!!! My book is Own It 2 from Cambridge University and sometimes I like to go to the Internet to do a review! In the last test I had 93% of 100% through my hard and hard work in the discipline. I hope you continue to make these kinds of videos. Thank you!!
Thank you for doing these amazing videos so clear and well explained !!!
I am from Iraq and I really benefited, thank you 🤩🇮🇶

Yahshua Hamashiach good morning my English teacher, thanks for this lesson, continue keeping on, I appreciate your classes, May The Almighty blessings be upon you and your family.
Hi. I'm an EFL teacher and used this video in a student paced individual edpuzzle style lesson,, inserting questions and parallel concepts in my students' native language within the video itself. It's fantastic! You speak slowly and clearly, with a lot of passion. One of my students noticed an error in the video at 7:42 - the words behind you refer to the present future tense, instead of the future simple tense. Thank you so much for your amazing work!! Looking forward to using more videos in my lessons.
Very nice
Love you emma you’re amazing
I’ve been learning through your video for so long
Hello there. How are you doing??

I live in Ecuador . I am studying english on my own and these classes are very useful.
If I get a person like you talk with, then I would be as fluent as you in English within a week
In this sentence, it probably makes more sense to use the second conditional (it's a hypothetical situation) - and you used 'would' in the main clause so you are almost there already!
Here's a link to my lesson on the second conditional czcams.com/video/71u-NoY4Ag8/video.html
Situation 1 - Zero conditional:
When spring comes, flowers bloom
Situation 2 - First conditional:
If you're late tomorrow, you will have troubles with our boss
Situation 3 - First conditional:
If you vote for me, you will live better
Situation 4 - Zero conditional:
If you have a food allergy, you can always replace some ingredients (I was hesitating about this one but then I understood that it's a statement and it sort of happens always).
Thanks you so much. I was confused with numbers 4 too.
BEST of the BEST explanation, Emma. I clearly got it :) Thank you so much!!
i have been searching the good teacher since i have started to learn English. finally, i have found you . if i watch your video i will speak English fluently .thanks for it .emma
Hi Emma!! I'm back here again. My examples:
Situation 1: zero conditional.
-Spring is the time when the plants bloom!!
Situation 2: first conditional.
- if you don't come to work tomorrow early, you will be in trouble.
Situations 3: first conditional.
- If you vote for me, I will build you a bridge. "Someone says 'but we don't have rivers', me " ah no? Ok no problem, I will build you a river too"😂
Situation 4: zero conditional**
- If you are allergiec to any of the ingredients, you can always use alternative ingredients.
**I have doubst in sitiation 4. Zero or first consitional? Or my sentence is wrong?
P.s sometimes it takes days for the link to translate your videos to appear or, worse, it doesn't appear. Or maybe it's me?
Aliens exist, still far from our planet, but I am sure they are somewhere.😊
Your sentences are all awesome!
And your responses made me laugh!!

- If you vote for me, I will build you a bridge. "Someone says 'but we don't have rivers', me " ah no? Ok no problem, I will build you a river too"😂
This made me laugh 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you dont come to me, i feel annoyed.
If i pass the exam, my father will buy me a bicycle.
@@mmmEnglish_Emma Hi Emma. Just want to clarify, "Spring is the time when the plant blooms". Is it also a conditional phrase or a restrictive clause?
Well, I am used to this format -- "When it is spring time, the plant blooms". Please clarify 😉
You are an amazing teacher Emma! Thanks for this video ,this helped me a lot 😊
I'm so glad! ❤️
Thank you sou much for this lesson. It was awesome ! Love it
By far you are my favorite teacher ever! Thank you a lot 🥰
Zero Conditional:
- When I get bored, I watch Bright Side's videos.
First Conditional:
- If you work hard, you'll reach your goal.
Very captivating lesson!
When I watch your lessons, I'm motivated to learn English.
If I have doubts about English grammar, I will refer to your lessons.
Wilmer Wong 👌🏼
Me too💝
I'm happy because I' ve discovered you. Your lesson helped me a lot . Thanks a bunch for everything. 💕💕
If i don't watch your other videos, i won't be succesful - First Conditional -
Its really helpful its based on situations so we come to know when to use and difference between 1st and zero conditional awesome emma mam👌
S1. When spring comes, many trees start blossoming.
S2. If you come late for work tomorrow, you will miss the important meeting.
S3. If you vote for me, I will definitely provide good health facilities in the future.
S4. If you have the food allergy, instead of 'x' you can use 'y'.
Brilliant 👌
My only correction is about the article 'the' - better to use the indefinite article because you are not talking about a specific food allergy:
4. If you have *a* food allergy, instead of 'x' you can use 'y'.
@@mmmEnglish_EmmaPoint taken. Thank you very much.
I follow your CZcams lessons. They are very helpful.
1-When spring comes , leaves appear on trees
2-if you come late tomorrow , you'll be in trouble
3- if you vote for me , everything will be ok
4- if you have allergy from this ingredient , you can change it
👌 Awesome sentences!
A minor change: If you have *an* allergy to this ingredient, you can change it.
I’m an English teacher and it is very useful to watch you and inspire me on how to explain lessons which are quite complicated
To the point, precise and productive.
1st conditional - If you study hard you, you will get good Marks
Zero conditional - if you study hard, it gets easier for you
Situation - tomorrow if you come late to work, you will fire
zero conditional - You can change the ingredients if you have food allergies
3rd situation- if you vote me, I'll change your situation ........ After Some years situation changed .... it's Worse than before 😜
1st. S. "Tom, if Spring is in the North, Autumn is in the South."
2nd. S. "Hey Leo, if you arrive late tomorrow, you will miss your job."
3th. S. "If you vote for me, you will improve your quality of life."
4th. S. "If you have milk allergy, you can replace with soya."
Great sentences - I've just made a couple of small changes to help you sound more natural!
1. "Tom, if *it is* Spring in the North, *it is* Autumn in the South." (it's more natural to say it this way)
2. "Hey Leo, if you arrive late tomorrow, you will *lose* your job."
3. "If you vote for me, you will improve your quality of life."
4. "If you have *a* milk allergy, you can replace *it* with soya."

Great job, Emilu!
First situation 😍zero condition. Second situation 😍first condition. 😍third situation first condition 😍last one zero condition. I hope I am right. 😍
Hi Emma, here's my sentence:
If you have a food allergy, you can always change the ingredients.
Is it correct? Please comment. If it is wrong, I will correct it. Thanks.
Hiya :) I'm aware the question wasn't directed to me but I'm a private English teacher and my language level is C2 according to the placement tests I've taken as of late. That's why I thought I could give you a hand and I say: your sentence is perfectly fine. There are no mistakes, so you did a great job. :)

10:13 *First conditional* (warning)
_If all of you don't do your homework by tomorrow, you'll be in trouble._

_If trees begin to grow their leaves and plants start to flower, you're in Spring._
14:43 Situation 2 -> *First conditional* (warning)
_If you're late to work tomorrow, you'll be in trouble with the director._
14:52 Situation 3 -> *First conditional* (promise)
_If all of you're voting for me, I'll make better the current situation._

_If you have a food allergy, you can always change the ingredients._
If all of you're voting for me, I'll make the current situation better.
@@chaimaechaimae1178 It could be "vote for me" as well because "are voting for me" is grammatically a present continuous tense but its intention is future tense. So remember you can use present continuous to indicate future tense as well.
*If all of you vote for me, I will make the current situation better.*
@@jldmvlog1616 great , thanks
If I practice english every day ,I will improve.
But , the last sentence is first conditional , not zero because this is instruction not fact
1. When spring comes, migrating birds navigate back home.
2. If you are late to work tomorrow, we will miss the deadline to make a presentation to the CEO by the end of the day.
3. If you vote for me, I will work for you every single day!
4. If you have a food allergy, there is always a way to change the ingredients!
