- Recently-elected Economic Freedom Fighters Student Command President, Sihle Lonzi, has outlined a vision that will impact the focus of student politics during his term of office.
He says he'll set up associate structures in schools so that pupils don't fall victim to what he calls ANC 'hustlers' and 'swindlers'.
Lonzi elaborates on his plan.

Very good idea about job seeker's allowance. In the UK they have that system where any unemployed person within working age has to register at their local job centre where their skills and qualifications are assessed, the centre has access to a national database where employers submit their available vacancies. The person is assigned a case manager who sits them down, helo them with tips on compiling a CV, which positions to apply for. The job seeker has a booklet where they record their job seeking activities and every two weeks they meet with their case manager who verifies their activities. They get living allowance payment every two weeks if you miss your appointments for no justifiable reason you don't get paid. They get a special pass to pay half price in public transport. There are private clothing companies who partner with the government as part of social responsibility that if you have secured an interview your case manager gives you a letter that you can take to that shop and you can go and choose a formal outfit with black shoes.. Most companies also have a policy to reimburse your travel costs if it's out of your local area when you have an interview with them. if you haven't secured a job in six months they look at possibilities of reskilling or augnenting your training in whatever field ( short courses). As a registered job seeker you also have an online account that gives you access to computers in the centre where you can go and use them for alk your job seeking activities including printing. Once you secure a job you still get paid your allowance for the next six weeks to allow you to earn an income before they stop paying you.
This is great 👏
EFF is now and the future.

At UCT, your own university, you lost drastically. Because you strike every time you get an opportunity. Not a good record for you President. Independent candidates won 10 seats, the Economic Freedom Fighters Students’ Command three seats, and Action SA two seats. But good luck...
