I’ve fallen to my knees. Armand’s fanfic is the funniest part
Armand was SENT to lead the coven in 1556. Like he mentions, he'd already been leading it for 239 years when he met Lestat. So that would in the the mid-1700s.
the way they are building to an epic tragedy is exciting and terrifying
i love how youre catching on to armand's lies lmao. you dont have to be daniel to realize something is seriously fishy abt his story. Lestat felt abandoned by his maker. and he loved nicky of this much we know since season 1 episode 1. he played his music (a century later) for louis and even claudia knows so much abt nicky. its because he loved him so much. lmao this is plain fanfiction OR its how armand felt about how lestat treated him WHILE doing his best to paint himself in the best light ever.
Lestat was kising with Antuanette in front of Louis. Why can't he kiss Armand while Nicky was playing? I see absolutely no reason for Lestat to treat beloved Nicky better then he treated beloved Louis. It's just the way he is.

Lestat didn’t lie about his age. Armand said he was sent to Paris in the 1500’s but it wasn’t until the late 1700’s when he met lestat.
that man talking to Daniel is from ‘Talamasca’, a secret organization that appears in Mayfair Witches and on a several of Rice’s books and that is dedicated to studying the supernatural world and keeping mortals safe from vampires, demons, witches, etc. And it will be the new Immortal Universe series.

Yes, the song parallels, Claudia plotted to kill Lestat and now Armand and Santiago are plotting to kill.
I think I didn't catch my breath from the scene with Louis/Armand/Lestat until the credits rolled lol
Also I love how you immediately noticed they used the same song for the chess scene last season and Santiago and Armand conspiring to kill Louis.
(Another) also I love your love for Louis, book fans are very often talking crap about him on every comment section they encounter but I love how you actually appreciate this version of the character they're giving us.
This is my favorite episode of the whole series so far! Showing Lestat during the transformation from the Children of Darkness to the Theatre of the Vampires was worth the wait. I wish they would have told more of Nicky's backstory. It's important to the Theatre storyline. The introduction of the Talamasca via Raglan James was worth the wait! They are integral to the story as a whole. I love Lestat -the brat prince!
This episode was crazy the tension was building with music especially at the end. It was brilliant felt like 10 mins. Also absolutely loved seeing Armand and Lestat meet for the first time.
I really hope Lestat gets to hear Armand's version of their "relationship" at some point. 🤣"Let me tell you something about 18th century Armaaaand" indeed.
Also I feel Louie was just starting to stand on his own two feet again this episode and I saw a lot of confidence in him for the first time in a while
Definitely my favorite episode of the Series so far! It was so well done. Armand & Lestat past, Armand & Santiago plotting, Claudia craving acceptance & community. 😢 so good

Armand is lying. Lestat kicked his ass in this encounter in the books. He pitied armand. Armand begged him to stay with him told him he is a slave to rules and bought the theatre for Armand to have a purpose.

Finally got some more Lestat. He’s the more interesting character and we’re getting so little of him right now. If we get a third season I hope the season is told from his point of view. Louie is the whiniest vampire in modern literature.

@RowensARTstudio I've read all of the books and they're absolutely right. Louie's the whiniest vampire in this universe. Not all of us are Louie fans. I know I prefer Lestat over any other character in this universe. I'm not sure how having an opinion that's different from yours is rude. Even in the actual movie Lestat accuses Louie of always whining. It's okay that not everyone likes Louie. As a matter of fact when I reread TVC I usually skip the first book because it's told from Louie's POV. It's just a matter of preference for a different literary character in this universe.

I don’t understand the need for people to throw around petty little insults and then write passive aggressive nonsense trying to belittle someone else’s opinions. It would appear once again that if we dont worship at the altar of Louie the mind hive will call us names and belittle us. Sort of pathetic and mean spirited, don’t you think?

I will say that for most readers, those are the two main favorites that everybody names.
For me they are the absolute favorites, like much much better than Interview with the vampire or any other supernatural story.
