Bankrupt Businessman's ABANDONED Million Dollar Mansion | Pool, Guesthouse, and Stables

- Overlooking one of the busiest streets in The city, this large brick mansion may seem a bit out of place by itself on this grassy lot. And that was by design. Its former owners grew their wealth by running a successful landscaping company. They built their home on this land long before the city’s unanticipated population boom, expecting a quiet but upscale way of living tucked away from society. Equipped with a large pool and 2 stables and a guest house on 8 acres of land, this tranquil slice of paradise seemed like the perfect place to live and raise a family. That wasn’t meant to be, however, as the City grew all around them, creating competition that eventually would choke out their business, taking away their livelihoods, hard-earned wealth, and home that they invested so much into. Abandoned only a couple of years ago, this home sits as a reminder of the opulent lifestyle once enjoyed by this family. I hope you’re ready for a great adventure so join me today and let’s see what’s left.

This will seem COMPLETELY RANDOM, but I’ve been struggling with horrible anxiety and your videos are helping soothe me. The content is awesome and fascinating, but the calmness of the tour and your voice is relaxing! Thank you!
Omg not crazy at all-- SAME!! I listen actually before bed… so calming!!! Any chance this career doesn’t work out you (Bankz) could try a calming app? Lol
I feel the same
It doesn’t look beyond repair. It would be wonderful if someone would buy it and turn it into a family home.
I live in Oklahoma. It is so upsetting to me that beautiful homes like this are torn down to be turned into commercial property. It is happening more and more.
That's sad part about America, always tear down without thinking something could be saved an build around or incorporate it to the overall planning. 😢 😕 😪💔
exactly I was thinking how could u tear down such a nice house? shame
I bet someone would be able to repair this place and return the whole property to its former glory. There's so much that can be done. A family could make this whole place a wonderful home
I never think of houses this size as mansion, just really big house, if you can differeciate lol
Anything over 5k sqft can be considered a mansion. Even old historical homes that are only 3k sqft are named mansions. But I go by the 5k sqft rule.
@@BigBankzsweet i honestly didnt know that
Me either ! 😀 My neighborhood had some over 5,000 and many over 3 ( brick ) never thought of them as mansions.... Silly Me
What a gorgeous home. Very family oriented, lots of storage. I'd live there in a heartbeat.
It's sad to see beautiful houses demolished for commercial building. Especially when affordable housing is desperately needed everywhere.
Another great explore. Thanks for showing us this property. Someone put a lot of effort into making this a comfortable place for themselves and animals.
Hello Shar how's the weather over there
I don't have my own house...to see abandon house like this really makes me sad 😭😭
This bad boy is a dream adventure for me. I drove by it every single day at work.
That back room with all the cabinets and nice wooden countertops- I was thinking two things:
1. “Mudrooms” are a popular thing in the south- where you would take off hats, boots, whatever was dirty from the farm and leave/clean it. They may have had a large one because of the stables for riding clothes/boots/hats whatever.
2. It almost looks like someone actually turned that into an office or work area where you could run a small business or do business straight from your home. If they were in landscaping it could have been their home office instead of renting a space. ?? Just a guess. Lol.
I love old places in the south (I live in VA- if you ever need a place to crash- there’s some great stuff in this area I can confirm that!) but especially the farm/stables part interested me!!!!! For sure….. 😮
Such a beautiful property it doesn't even need that much restoring
Hello Lucia how's the weather over there
Love that home. They lie so much about how they want to go green, yet, demolish a perfectly good home. Then use all kinds of materials, that go against green in just by using them.
All of this green talk is mostly just lip service, a selling point. At the end of the day, we’re still the same throwaway society that we’ve always been.
The community I call home is one of those that loves to tout itself as “green”, and yet everywhere I look, I see cool old homesteads being leveled to make way for new commercial developments and apartment complexes. If it’s not that, they’re clearing 20+ acres of woods to construct a bunch of half million dollar homes on top of each other, or bulldozing existing structures to build newer, gaudier ones in their place.
Absolutely, global warming and all that stuff is a sham and it pains to see banks seize properties and everything in them if people can’t keep up with payments and they do nothing with them meanwhile there are people out there are homeless or becoming homeless because of the times we are in. Yet places like this one and many others who still have valuables in them just rotting away. I’ll never understand that. There is so much waste in western society it’s sick.
The original owners went through a nasty divorce; the husband had mortgaged the house to the hilt without the wife's knowledge and he defaulted on the 2 mortgages. They are both still alive. The property was then deeded over to the Harrison family, but the Harrisons never lived in the house. It was an investment for the Harrisons and they made a huge profit when they sold the land (and the house) to a developer. The home will soon be demolished.
Thank you ❤
The empty rooms in the stables were tack rooms. And the stands on the walls were for saddles. The room without the stands were for feed.
Hello Patty how's the weather over there
What a shame things went bad for the family . Nice home.
Hello Shirley how's the weather over there
Such a sad story when people had worked so hard to get this beautiful home and then loose it all when things get bad I really feel for them the house is absolutely georgus shame nobody had bought it to return it to its former glory very interesting video I have subscribed and I allways watch all the way through and coment on everything I watch and leave a like looking forward to watch more of your videos it may take a while to get through them but I will .
Great video. This is a really nice house. It would probably be in pristine condition if squatters weren't there. It's sad that the family lost their home.
Wow they had one hell of a landscape company
lie they were in the oil business
What state is this located in? It seems there are a lot of things in this house that could be salvaged instead of being torn down. It is a shame to destroy all of the cabinets and other built in items. It is a beautiful home. I always enjoy looking at your videos. Thank you for sharing your work.
looking into it :)
Waste of resources. Humans really good at that from what I've seen. "New" may not be better, either.
Hello Betty how's the weather over there
Another great find Big Bankz, hopefully this family was able to get themselves back on their feet. It's a shame they lost the home the builders would have paid a lot of money for their land and that could have probably saved them financially. Love from N.Y.
That smaller kitchen type area might be called the "mud room", because it was a wash up or dry up area utility area,to strip off dirty work clothes, or keep from tracking in through the main part of home.
The previous owners, Daniel and Johnel Harrison, according to the Oklahoma county assessor's website bought a 2 million dollar home in Nichols Hills in 2019, two years before this one was sold to Chisholm Creek. From my research, it appears the Harrisons were in oil and gas, not landscaping.
I think most all of these explorer's say whatever to get you reeled in to WATCH... they don't get it that we'll watch regardless, I hate it when they just make shi* up lol
WOW you should see the mansion they moved into it is twice the size of this house but in a neighborhood not on land and no stables.
Frank Harrison owned it. He had an oil and gas business but I can’t say the exact name online. He himself said he owned this placed for 20 some years. I don’t know the reason why he left a thing like this for so long. He’s not struggling in any way. He sold it to a business out of california :/
Also at one point this land had 50 acres around it. Not just the 8 we see today
It is unbearable pain to lose everything when accident or illnesses occur. In a better world we would have a safety net for these people. And I agree that making people leave their home just to let it sit empty & fall apart is such a shame. And so unjust. This explore is so sad to me. Take care, BigBanks and stay safe always
I guess the bank got the property on the foreclosure and then sold it for a large sum to the developers. So, so sad for the family. All the Christmases, gatherings, birthdays and happy times in that home.
I'm just waiting and looking forward to the day that The Lord acts against the people who are involved with, and push the systems in this world that cause terrible tragedies like this!! Government, banks, politicians, and the other overlords of the modern world will be held accountable for their cold, greedy hearts!!!!
@@jenniferlloyd9574 which is confusing because they moved into a much larger much newer home
Thanks for sharing 👍👏👏
This is without a doubt a beautiful property, a place that everyone would love to own. The decay of this property where people once lived happy moments shows us that in this life nothing lasts forever except the earth and the sky. That's why we must live every second as if it were our last.
So true. Live for today and forget tomorrow as it may never come.
First time I’ve ever heard of a city growing up around a successful landscaping business and choking it.
Nice HOUSE, not even close to a MANSION.
What a beautiful home and grounds.Developers would love to put a lot of cracker box houses on that beautiful property.👍❤️
So many people without homes could make these homes hell going waist anyway
Great video. Sad to me though. You did a great job of explaining about the property . I live around the corner from this place and Chisholm Creek Partners, who bought this from Harrison Family Trust in May of 2021 to put businesses in there and paid 6.6 million for it .Thx again for the video. I always wanted to see on the inside. Would have cost a lot to update . Still a nice place and the location doesn’t bother me. There is a Costco almost across the street and a hospital half a block away and a Wall Mart a mile away. Was beautiful at one time. There are a lot of homeless people in the area.
Where is this location, if you don't mind saying?
I'm just waiting for a former resident of one of these abandoned homes to comment on these explorers videos.
Thanks big bankz for sharing your exploring with us I love watching your videos this house was lovely 😍 I feel so sorry for the owners everything they worked so hard for just gone like that such a shame I also loved the dog 🐕 crates they were cool looking forward to next week's video thanks big bankz 🙂 x
Loved the Bible quote 👍🏼I love the book of Proverbs life guides for the soul 🙏
Leave the quotes up longer to be read!
I love that you are commenting on the smells, it is really cool because abandonment does have a smell. keep doing what you do! :)
Hello Lizzy how's the weather over there
This is very sad. I hope they will rise above their loss. God bless them. I am going to say a prayer for them and hope that they will find their way once again. ( prayer) Father i ask that you keep your eyes on this family and help them to get back on their feet. Please guide them where ever they are. AMEN.
Beautiful home! You always bring the best explorations!! I love everyone of your mansion videos!!
Hi I’m new to your Adventure’s I am totally Amazed at the place’s you show,do you ever get the creeps walking around a abandoned house, not knowing what might be behind a door? When I watch you walking through a house my imagination just goes away with me at what it would it have been like for the poor people to just leave their home behind.
Thank you for showing us the amazing place’s you explore. ( Some houses I really think could be fixed up,and still have potential to be made liveable again.)
Those metal racks are for English saddles...nice tack room!! Nice sized stalls.
Makes me sick to see an abandoned house when I don't have one
Bank owns it or government, or owners got bought out by developers.
Love this house absolutely beautiful
It's just so weirdly sad, all desolate and abandoned. Great video Bigbankz
Thank you, this was really nice, shame it's being demolished ☹️
Hello Carol how's the weather over there
Admit I was too lazy to read all the comments, so apologies if this has been said. First, what a shame. I felt like the home was an older home with add-ons, because of the drawer pulls, the scalloped moldings on some of the built ins, and the blue and pink tubs, as well as the shiny Italian brick in the kitchen.
Also in the main barn, that was a tack room with all the saddle racks and hooks and knobs for bridles. The other room would have been for feed, and kept closed and latched at all times, because horses don't stop eating when they are full, causing death and or serious illness.
I'll bet it was all so beautiful not long ago.
So sad for that family to lose their dream Home 🏠
oh wow, the house was been beautiful at one time .
❤👍🏼👍🏼✌🏼
Looks amazing can't wait for this!!!😍
It’s amazing how the banks will allow these beautiful homes to deteriorate and fall apart as opposed to working with the family or a new family to keep it livable until sold😢
Small master bathroom and closets. Fireplace is huge, possibly heat the whole house. Joking. W the bank could have sold 6, 7 or more acres and lowered their mortgage. Just sad. Thank you for sharing 🥲
What a beautiful untouched find. It looks like they just moved out yesterday. You don't see this very often. Super Job..Jim
You gotta slow down the camera abit slower panning, plus check out the basements are all interesting
In the stables, those racks are saddle racks and the horseshoe hooks are where you would hang your bridles and such. I would LOVE to have that stable!!
Hello Kelly how's the weather over there
Wow ❤amazing beautiful home
It's bittersweet remembering exploring places when in my mid teens till mid 20's. Wish I filmed those things..
Beautiful home. Sad they are going to tear it down. Could be saved!
Thanks for sharing this is a beautiful home it so sad that the family lost it 💯👍💯
Thanks for sharing 👋
Wonderful locations. Please slowwww down when you're panning the room so we can immerse ourselves in the experience. Thank you. Keep up the good work. Just subscribed today.
Hello Jeanne how's the weather over there
I really enjoy your videos. Good commentary and you keep it interesting.
Wow, Gentrification and urban expansion even hits rich folks too..
So sad…thank you for sharing
I enjoy all your tours... awesome finds
I love watching your videos I like hearing about the history of the places as much as you can. Keep up the cool videos from Christchurch New Zealand 🇳🇿
Hello Nichola how's the weather over there
The bathrooms seem very 50's / early 60's with the teal and pink colors. The house must have been built in the mid century. Nice video. Thank you.
This house shouldn't be demolished and should be saved.
Hello Cheryl how's the weather over there
"You know it's abandoned when you see fans like this. All drooped down and sad and whatnot" Me: *turns to look at the sad unused droopy ceiling fan in my parents livingroom*
🤣🤣🤣
"That bathroom looks like it's been exploded," made me laugh! 😃
Wow this property is awesome! What a shame. Great explore!🥰🥰🥰
Awesome video!
Hello how’re you doing?
I would say dinning room living room and family room. And the area you said you want site what it was for most likely was their office to keep up with the horses. I'm assuming they had allot of them by the looks off it. Could have bread them. One guest house could have been for the ranch hands. 😁
In the barn were the tack and feed rooms. The things sticking outta the wall s were used to hold the horses bridals and saddles. Beautiful place. It's a shame it's going to be demolished.
Can't wait brother!
Wow, such a nice place, sad that it is going to be destroyed. The situation with the house is sad. Awesome video.
Hello Amanda how's the weather over there
Based on video narration, I'm personally glad that things such as Smell-O-Vision is non-existent. Hehe! 🤫🤨🤐😏
I've been sub for bout a week and some seen all your videos I luv it here
I have a retro bath in pink and blue 2 baths and the tile matches , it’s awesome , I will never change them
What qualifies a “mansion”. Not a small home by any means but also nowhere near “mansion” status. Property data shows this property valued at $760k and it is two separate lots. What they are calling a guest home is on a separate lot. There is a property not far from this one that I would definitely classify as a mansion, but it is also valued at around $1.8m with a 5000 sqft home on 18 acres. This is a typical upper middle class home here.
My type of home! Absolutely beautiful.
Beautiful house! It's a shame they're gonna bull doze it! Really nice video, you did a wonderful job on this! Thank you!
in the horse barn..those metal thingy's are saddle racks.. you set a saddle up on them
So sad story thanks
🇦🇺 Big Bankzy shout out from Kim in Australia 🇦🇺 love your travels your No1 love ❤️ watching keep up your good work big banks keep safe
What a shame to see it be torn down. What a shame😢
Waiting patiently
Beautiful wish I could find something like this I would grad it up!
Being a horse owner ,find it sad a lovely property being abandoned .
To your question what is that silver rack it's a saddle rack
Owww amazing and beautifull house 😢
In the front is a stacked formal living/dining area most likely.
You should’ve closed the doors and stuff. Maybe lock them so the squatters would have to break in to get back in.
You are one of my favorite CZcamsr bigbankz
Sad to see that banks can't keep door's locked and monitor the property to keep squatters and thiefs out
It is definately locked. These do get permission to enter the property. Do not be deceived.
What a cool video.
Love Watching
Very nice house so sad what happened to the family
How is that a mansion its to plain for that
That" Next Friday" SWIMMING POOL😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It’s a large house, yes. But looks like a farm house style that we have a lot of in our small city. It’s beautiful.
Conheci esse tipo de vídeo essa semana, estou viciado, fico pensando como eu decoraria essas casas, o que removeria rsrs
I love this house 🏡 and all the woodwork and the floors it makes me mad 😡 when they take a beautiful place down
I find these very saddening. The amount of time and effort put into these places, just to lose them for what ever reason. And then to have them torn down. I realize many are too far gone, but why let them get to that point in the first place? Sad, just so very sad........
worthy of restoration, nice house
An amazing big house i would love living in this house 👵🏻🇺🇸👍
24:06 in stables is a tack room where you hang your saddles & keep your riding gear
Thank you for taking us with you, no lie I feel like I’m right there and what you smell I can literally smell(or imagine) great job great house too bad they are demolishing it
Beautiful place. Too bad it's being demolished
