- Today we take you inside a Retro 90's abandoned mansion that was once owned by an Indian family who had their own radio station out of their home. This mansion is set to be demolished for a newer mansion in the near future. Just wait till you see hoe many mirrors are in this place.

are they seriously gonna tear this place down?? thats insane , the landscaping and pool area is so natural, fits right into the environment. love the 90s style which was new when i was a kid its crazy to think thats dated now, but totally my style. skylights, marble, angles and pine trees.
It costs less. The labor to retrieve that stuff costs more than it’s worth.
Just found out I hate modern!!! Those closets are lined with cedar, keeps the bugs out!!
Leaving the house behind is a slap in the face to all of the builders who worked on this, is a waste go the money for all of the materials bought. The owners could have cleaned out their things and put it up for sale. Or even donated it. Apparently when you have this much money you donf care about the time and materials that went into building this home.
It’s sad
It's not a slap in the face to the builders. They were just doing a job they were getting paid to do. Things get built and demolished all the time. It's the nature of the beast.
I was thinking that it seems irresponsible to leave this house without selling it.
Seem like they left in a hurry up people came and took what was left behind. Something about this home seems like they didn't have a choice to stay or leave.
@@krisscott7436 maybe they got deported, they were foreigners
What a cool 90s style house!! So many interesting surprises and unexpected architectural details. And all those mirrors! Great explore!
I feel full of nostalgia , the house reminds me of a lot of 90s movies. I loved it, 90s mansions are my favorite, keep ‘em coming mate.
People used to like cedar lined closets to keep their clothes fresh and away from moths. Some cedar rooms could be a sauna too. This also looks like my house growing up (not big like this lol) but a lot of the same characteristics and features which was built in the mid 80s. Great find!!!
I gave such a neat freak compulsion to make things right I'd have to leave that place better than I found it. Like put the fireplace grate back where it goes, toilet seats and lids down and doors to closets closed and kitchen cupboards too. Simple quick things and if Windows were left open I'd close them if I could.
So would I ..lol
Yeah I always find it disturbing when explorers don’t close windows that are open while they are there ( not sure if that was the case here )
Very neat & so clean!!! The wooden closets are usually cedar, for preservation of woolens & silk to protect from moths!
This is the most awesome house I've ever seen! I love every bit of it! It's so unique and weird that it's just amazing! I just recently found your channel and have been binge watching your videos. The way you explore these places it just perfect! Your excitement and genuine reactions are apot on, so refreshing compared to all the other urban explorers. I also love your nails, your wife has some decent painting skills and cool design ideas! I adore both of you in your videos (when she comes along). Thank you so much for making such wonderful content!
It is a beautiful house. You're probably right about it being built in the 90's. I remember seeing some houses similar to this one being built in the 80's too. It's a shame that it sits empty. Definitely needs a new roof put on it and they'll have to get rid of the mold down in the basement. I wonder why there's always mold in the basements. 🤔 Seems like they would make sure there was plenty of ventilation down in these basements when they build these houses. I loved the cedar closets too. I'd probably change a few things if I owned it. Like for an example...I would had rather had wooden rails on the staircase instead of iron. I hope no one goes in the house and starts vandalizing it. Anyway, thank you for sharing this huge house with us. 👍
I wish we got updates on the properties and what they are now if they were actually torn down- this house is soo cool!
I was born in the eighties so this place reminded me a lot of my childhood in the 90's with its little details, great video!
Hello! Looking forward to it! You do a great job. The Bible verse in the beginning is a great touch
Who would abandon such a gem? Great find! 😎
This is by far my favorite spot yet. 5 a little dated, but I love it. Wouldn't take much to make it my dream home.
House is freaking awesome. The property looks amazing too very wooded makes you feel secluded. Not sure how I feel having a staircase going into the master bathroom I'd have to get some kind of hatch installed for privacy.
That looks 80s to me. Reminds me of my cousin’s house in some ways. Which was an 80s house. The graphics are VERY 80s
I agree. The intercom system looked mid 80's or very early 90's to me.
Love it.You younger people kill me talking about the 90's as if it were 100 years ago.Hell, I turned 30 in 1999 and I'm not old nor do I feel old.Would I take the house??? You DAMN SKIPPY-
The wood panels are cedar. They're used for wool clothes and old fur coats to keep moths out. That was definitely a big house.
I would love to live there. House very well arranged with good space usage without waste, and not just a box. like the yard too. You always seem to find the best places.
Oh, I adore this mansion! I am about 1/2 way through and wanted to write a couple things down. The shoe box appeared to be Neiman Marcus - which is still a high end designer label in the USA. Maybe not as expensive or popular as it was in the 90's if I remember correctly. The 90's were my teen years (especially late 90's) and I loved the late 90's the most! The kitchen is massive and I never really understood having a desk in the kitchen but it was a popular staple at that time. It most standard homes the desk were small and at a counter end. I think the theory was probably to jot notes, list (groceries, supplies), schedules (kids, maintenance), bills down. It would be convenient for the housekeeper of a mansion. I do a lot of that stuff at my own kitchen table come to think of it. And that smallish room with the vanity and large mirror facing with the balcony and glass doors, my first thought was a dance studio looking at the lighting but I thought I saw a place you could possibly have a barr. The living room is beautiful, I love the little wet bar and the gorgeous stone fireplace, the view. I could definitely carry on that theme. The couple is just as beautiful as the house. The master suite was beautiful, absolutely loved the bathroom. Upstairs was nice, I love that it gets so much sunlight. I loved the basement, pool and pool house. It would definitely be right up my alley if I were wealthy. It looks liveable not formal. I guess that's another thing I love about it. I hate that it will be demolished. Great find! Loved the video! Take care, stay safe and God bless! 💞Kat
Super fun, Big Banks. This was so fun. Can you imagine playing hide and go seek in this house!?
Love this house, the first floor bathrooms r beautiful.I love all the sky lights big windows.Lots of big room.I love this place cause it's not so fancy, it's simple and plain cool.Thank u for the showing.Ure videos r the only ones I watch.
It's funny that nowadays people think the only justifiable reason for an antenna that big on the roof is if you were an at-home radio host 😂 pretty sure you needed one of those puppies up until the mid nineties if you wanted more than 36 channels
Kids these days. "They must have hosted a radio show"
@@Skylyned yeah, that comment made me feel so old! It was cute though! Lol
i wish these guys would learn a little bit about architecture and houses before picking up a camera and trying to be an expert
@@jasontaylor9871 big difference between these guys and The Proper People is TPP do their homework ahead of time so they don't sound like morons
Especially in such a remote location if you wanted to watch any tv at all.
😂
I can’t believe they are going to tear down this house. This was amazing. People and their money they just throw away the old and move on to the new. But what an amazing design In This house and it has been preserved really well. I seriously can’t believe they will tear it down.
Thanks for the tour I really enjoyed it.
it would be cheaper to remodel than build new.
Closes the shoebox that says Neiman Marcus on the front "I'm not sure what brand that is" 🤣
That is a projector TV. They were the rage in the mid 1990's and early part of the 2000s.
I like it the open spaciousness. Light & clean. Some good quality features
I've been bingeing all afternoon. I've had to have seen like over 20 spots by now, and THIS house is hands down my favorite one! This was a 90's kid's dream house. Who wouldn't have bragged to all their friends at school about living here back in the day?! Each part of the place was flex after flex. Such a shame about the mold and it being torn down.
Wood paneled closets are cedar closets protects clothes from insects, especially Moths, Silver fish
That's cedar lined closet usually for seasonal clothes storage it keeps the moths away.
Loved this house especially the game room because my kids would have loved that. I can imagine a pool table, Foosball and a couple more arcade games. And a dartboard. Thanks for the explore!
I would absolutely kill for a majestic stone fireplace like that one...it's so beautiful! As a daughter of a brick, block and stone mason, I know the skill it takes to build one like that.
That location is beautiful and looks like it was very beautifully landscaped to show off the surroundings especially how the pool and area were designed. I would love to live in that location and keep the pool and most of the landscaping. The outside design/look of the house I like but alot of the inside I don't has a good deal of 1980s style and color tones with regard to the kitchen cabinets and the light wood floor in the living room and the white rocks on the fireplace. So looks like a mix of '80s & '90s style, finishes. One thing I would keep almost the same with a few changes. Is the master bath it's so unique. Not so much mirrors and cabinet change and those upstairs bathrooms with the red fixtures those have to go. Totall kitchen redo reface the fireplaces in a nice dry stack natural stone look. Get rid of all the melamine cabinets(the white one's in that living room and update with nicer interior doors and hardware. The sunlight window is pretty clever to get natural light in that closet and that's a keeper.
Nice, roomy mansion. I liked the master bathroom, game room and the backyard. Quite the find. Demolish? That sucks. Enjoyed the tour. Thanks.
I Wish Me And My Family Would’ve Grew Up In A Beautiful Home Like That In The 90’s I’d Never Wanna Move Out ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It would have been amazing to live here in its hayday!
from what I can see @15:18 is an old video telephone.. not just any regular old 90's corded phone. notice the brightness and contrast settings underneath what appears to be a small television screen next to the phone. neat stuff.
Looks ocean like carpet. Love it all
This place has some unusual architecture. I liked it, cuz sure wouldn't get bored walking down the halls. Nice explore, thanks.
I am willing to bet the owners still come by here from time to time. So much of that is salvageable.
Imagine having so much money you can just walk away your mansion one day. Meanwhile I can't even afford a regular house
With these being Indian people, they probably borrowed from a bank and then just walked away and moved back to India. No reason to stay and sell.

This house is like one outa the movie Scarface. Tho I agree, it’s probably 1990’s. I’d say late 1990’s. And the stone on the walls and floor in the giant bathroom is worth a lot of money. That was the kind of decor and family house you wanted if you were raising kids in the 1990’s. Spacious and cool.
Fab 80's house, specially bathrooms...that would have been a custom made carpet/rug in the bathroom, very typical of the era...and the coloured drawer knobs and graphics in other bathrooms and kids bedroom...the master bed is superb ! would catch a good dollar with 80s decor enthusiasts like myself ;)
Such a shame, they are tearing down this house. Love it!! I think the bar thing in the kitchen you said ot may be a desk, it reminds me of a breakfast type lunch bar. The wood in the closets may be cedar to protect the cloths from moths. Great exploration!! Thanks!!
this is something that i feel would be a house on Beverly Hills 90210 back in the 90's, that Kelly Taylor or Steve Sanders would live in!
I loved the bathroom with the mirrors and the walk in closet.
i have never seen anything like that bathroom thats beautiful
Love love love how nice and quiet your voice is. Listening to you talk is a pleasure. Great explore as always! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hey Big Banks I hope u get better we miss you get better
That dish on the roof is for early satellite TV. This house is in too good of shape to tear down. Roof is still holding and a little paint can bring this place to modern standards.
The closet that you called wood as if nothing big was what is called aromatic. Cedar closet which is used for off season clothes and or furs to keep moths and such from eating up the clothes
Love your videos..just saying Hello, from the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico..God Bless You.
So funny to us old people -- to hear you refer to anything as 'retro 90's'! But I guess we did the same.
We ARE the "Retro." Hey, Rita Retro! That place is too huge for me. I wouldn't like all those halls and nooks and crannies. Even when I was young that would have been too much space for me. I like cozy. It's just a personal preference. Everyone is different. And it depends on the size of the family too, of course. With those high ceilings? That would be like living in a train station. Interesting video.
Really love that main living room and the view to the backyard.
Wow what a shame they are going to demo this place.
Definitely 80s and maybe updated in the late 90s. The video phones are too cool!
This reminds me of my old house! Good Job…..& Thx for the upload👍🏼
As always, looking so forward to this!!🙏🌻
Wow amazing house so georgeous i really love your videos God bless everyone from Houston Texas
I would not want to be the person who had to wash the window or change the light bulb
awesome house, I loved the game room, master bathroom and all the natural sun light coming in, thank you for sharing
Huge storage spaces, insane. From 80's . Thank you
I’m kind of surprised you didn’t find a panic room !!!!!
I love ur videos i like the regular houses u go in more then the mansions or big places when u go in regular abounded places its like we see how regular people lived and how they left love ur videos keep them coming
Hello from Oklahoma. I love watching your abandoned mansion videos 😊
The wood closets are cedar closets to keep they bugs away from the clothes.
Cool and beautiful. Shame it may be torn down.
I pray someome will buy and enjoy this house again. It would be stupid to tear it down
Almost everyone had a dictionary in their house before the internet. Big expensive satellite dishes were the only way to get cable if you didn't live where cable lines were.
I love this house! One of my favorite homes you have showed us!
The 90’s phone down in the basement was an intercom system
That is very 80's style home. I know, I lived it and seen the style .
Having/living in a large house 🏠 or mansion, doesn't necessarily mean that the family are wealthy and actually own the property outright. They could be up to their eyeballs in debt, trying to keep up with their mortgage repayments and living expenses.
Great video. 1990's. So glad you did this one. God bless
THANKS FOR SHARING THIS INFORMATION ABOUT THIS HOUSE 🏘️🏘️🏡🏡
Watching from Germany what an amazing video 👍😃
I love it also except for the mirrors
I love this explore it was awesome 👏🏻 👏🏻 my favorite part is the pool and backyard area so beautiful 🤩
im a 90s house fanatic 😁
Makes me sad to think such a huge beautiful house is abandoned. Are you sure the owners left to buy a much bigger house/mansion? It, they, sadly, divorced or had tragedy in the family? I hope it’s the former reason. I hope the girl is now a healthy adult person.
Love this house. Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing Bankz
What an awesome find. Someone should snatch that up.
Back in the day when I was your guys's age I was in Nanny and I took care of an Asian couples child and they had a huge satellite like that house does and basically what it did is it picks up TV stations that they normally would watch when they lived in China so those satellites are that big are used for picking up stations that you can't get in the United States.
This is an awesome find and this is my kinda house. I think it's beautiful and the master bedroom and bath I need that huge closet space!
In its day I know that pool area was gorgeous! The huge kitchen and all the cabinets is my kinda kitchen I know it had to be gorgeous also. I mean this whole house is gorgeous to me it's such a shame it will be demolished. I know it would need work done on it but I believe it would be worth it if someone has the money. And those rooms that had the cedar walls was beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this house it was awesome exploring it with you. 🥰
Beautiful!!
love the scriptures :)
I learned from a friend to make sure no matter where I go to carry something red. Red means money and luck. I always have my red wallet. And my son and husband I always make sure they have a red paper in their wallet.
Can't wait to see what's next! Always a good show!
Loved this house
Beautiful house. My favorite was the master bathroom. Thank for sharing. Love the video
The shoebox was from Neiman Marcus. It's a highend clothing store. I am not quite sure if in the past there was a store in Canada but there are in NYC.
Cedar is commonly used for all of the things listed below. If you use it in your closet you will need to give it a good sanding to get that beautiful smell renewed!
Great place! I absolutely loved the master bathroom and spiral stairs to the Gym!
You should show the od home owners faces in these videos.
Targ is a Futureistic arcade maze/shooting game from the 80s. It was developed by Exidy.... it was also released on Sega systems, but I do not remember it at all. Hope this helped!
I love this place. Really nice
The satellite looks like one from the early1990s. They were huge.
This house had so many unique details. The kitchen and the large master.
That was an awesome find! Loved the whole house!!
Very cool house. Sad that it's just left there to rot.
I think the room with the loud drawers and all the windows was probably a formal dining room. I picture them putting a buffet on the black built in and a fancy ice sculpture lol 😂
Everything looks brand new! Like they built it, lived in it briefly, and moved out! Do you know what the story is behind this abandonment?
It’s not my style (except the backyard, it’s beautiful!) but what a shame to tear it down!
Beautiful house, thanks for showing us!!
