Nice fish. I have found the service from the same company fast and good. Fish quality good. Two times I ordered 2.5” guaranteed males and when they came they were barely that. Twice contacted them and unless I net them out of my tank and picture against a tape they did nothing. Great quality fish but not thrilled with that response and will probably look elsewhere. Larger fish ordered had been all good.
Yeah buying fish at their 1.75 inch to 2.5 inc range is not a great idea I’ve found out the hard way you will most of the time get a female
I've had good luck with SRC as well. Ordered 6 fry from them on Black Friday. USPS screwed up and had them in transit for 2 additional days. I contacted SRC about the hold up and they kept in communication with me. When the fish arrived, they were healthy and I've had not issues. I'll be ordering again.
Great! What was their Black Friday sale this year? Black Friday 2 years ago was the first time I ordered from them.
I bought a dragonblood breeder pack at the 2.5-3.0 size 1 m 4f and the fish are excellant and breeding pretty much non stop. I too think the 10 dollar fee for adding more fish especially immediately after purchase, we’re talking days before the fish will even be caught for shipping seemed a bit too greedy IMO. Your canary yellow male is a stunner congrats🙂👍🏻

I get that type of fee is frustrating, but coming from a sales and operations background, imagine 100 customers a day and 65 of them change their order. It creates havoc.
Just ordered from snake river cichlids today. I hope the yellow canary I got looks somewhat like your as he matures. Super stunning!

@@micheldarosa6660 he’s colored up very well. All my fish from snake rivers are stunning, not a boring one in the tank. I also got a sunshine ob recently and he’s just as awesome.

@@addison_hickman I must’ve been intoxicated when I typed that lol I got 4 sunshine’s 3 of them are fine one died in the mail before it got here, I got 2 1.75 inches one of those were the one that died, and 2 1 inch - 1.5 inch, they’ve all seem to be showing a small hint of yellow, they were unsexed I’ve gotten 6 on another order of blueberry’s and 3 raspberry which 4 were males and 2 were females I have lost 3 total obs since 1 in the mail and 2 to what I would assume bullying the one I have no idea what happened to him I just assume it was bullying
Just curious about the price range for the showcase fish and how hard are they to get? I'm hoping to snag one tonight, maybe even two :)
I paid around $85 for this fish, and then $30 for shipping. I just sold him (and three OB females from SRC which cost me $35 each) locally for a grand total of $20. There was very little interest for the fish here in Minnesota, which surprised me.
