Clip 4. You can clearly see the two tugs trying to turn the cargo ship. It looks like the tug at the bow backed away to early.

1- 1st video, those are NOT barges, they're ships. Barges are unpowered, flat-bottomed vessels which are pushed/pulled by tugboats. Those are bulk freighters.
2- Learn the difference between boats and ships. They are NOT the same.
3- 3rd video, the "smaller boats" pushing the bulk freighter out of the way, using tires mounted to their bows are called TUGBOATS. Try to remember that name. It'll come up again.
1- Pretty sure nobody cares. The video was entertaining.
2- The difference is likely to be lost with the average audience. To them, they ARE the same. Myself included, so take that as you will.
3- Maybe be less of a douche? Just saying, it's not that you're incorrect because you're not. What you said was true, just the presentation isn't going to either get the point across or sway anyone's mind.

Captain's don't maneuver ships in port harbor pilots do. That is what the 2 small boats where probably there for to pick up the pilot and take him back to the station. as for the other 2 boats with tires on them they are the tug boats charged with moving the ship arount the harbor because the ship would not be under it's own power. The tugs and the pilot let the ship get away from them. not the captain.
