I don't know what Steve and Larson are talking about. Janettey tried to dive through that window to escape Michaels. What an act of cowardism!
Simply a tactical withdrawal.
This is honestly my all-time favorite podcast!!! y'all do great work!!
Instead of sometimes dan nerd cubed it should say and almost never dan nerd cubed
I have two addictions, podcasts and Top 10 lists, you cheeky bastards combined both.
Best betrayal: Vince Russo on common sense.
bigstupidgrin Hulk Hogan you piece of shit!!!
Nah, it was Cornette learning TNA hired him
the 1995 flair sting betrayal was actually pretty well done. First sting refused to come out to join flair in a match of flair/sting v AA/Pillman, and the sting joined to help flair while he was being beat down. Then a tag match was booked for flair/sting v AA/Pillman again, and flair was beat down back stage. Sting fought in a handicap match for 15 minutes, and then flair turned up while bandaged, and proceeded to get tagged in and beat down sting.
Sting is not shown as such a buffon for believing flair, and he remained skeptical until he HAD to tag Flair in.
RIP Sacramento kings
Earl Smothers Transcontinental. Book it Steve!
How was Andre turning on Hogan not on this list? 0_o
SenorNevets damn, with the gold chain ripped of his neck and Piper of all people being concerned, "you're bleeding..."
Yeah you can tell they didn't watch the Sting + Flair vs. Anderson and Pillman match
never stop those roleplays.
The evolution thumbs up thing is from the Roman Empire(Booooooo). When gladiators fall in the coliseum, the emperor indicates to the victorious gladiator whether or not to kill the loser with the hand signal thumbs up or down.
Concerning #1, you remember when Bobby Heenan yelled out 'Yeah! But whose side is he on?!'
I wonder to this day if Heenan let that slip by accident.
Nah he always hated Hogan, either as a face or a heel
Biggest betrayal... Vince Vs every territory ever
I think the Mega Powers split should have been number 1. It's the first storyline that drew me in totally as a kid. It also taught me it was cool to like the bad guy (Macho Man).
love u both.
More, but better.
I feel like Triple H should make this list more than once lol (Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Daniel Bryan, Batista)
manuel mendez he is a serial backstabber
manuel mendez - he can have a list of his own
I wonder if he will turn on Balor and Joe later down the line too. Balor seems very likely since he looks the part.
Y2J will attack Kevin Owens in the middle of the match causing him KO to win by DQ and Goldberg have no rematch clause
That would make sense if Y2J wasn't leaving WWE soon because a Jericho vs Goldberg feud would be awesome. Don't think Bill is signed after WM either.
I would prefer that but everything that I'm hearing is Goldberg will win title and then lose it to Lesnar at WM, which is already booked. Lesnar challenged Goldberg and Goldberg accepted. Owens will then wrestle Jericho at Mania.
I haven't heard any rumors of Goldberg winning? The only thing I have heard (1 Month Ago) is that Vince wants to put the Universal title into Brock vs. Goldberg. Vince makes show changes on the fly so nothing is set in stone
Probably Better Than You Goldberg is winning the title at fast lane that's what all the insiders are reporting just accept that
Vince likes big sweaty men
great video guys. keep it up
Still wish Chris hero was in the shield him hitting the elbow on cena
Love u fuys
Wasn't it you guys who brought up in an earlier video that Sting is the stupidest wrestler ever because he trusts everyone repeatedly and then they betray him?
Paul Bearer betrays the Undertaker!
Y'all really put Owens/Jericho on there? mmmm idk about that
woo. LOL
I look forward to this every weekend
Sean Waltman was the other guy Jannetty teamed with
Top ten anime betrayals
Psychologically Incarcerated Take a good look at the background.
Thinking about the fact that Owen's has had the belt because Finn got injured makes me wonder what WWE would have donne with Finn's title reign, how long would he of had the belt, who would he of faced for that period couldn't just be facing Face Seth for months, like so many questions.
from what I read, he would've faced KO up to HIAC
Stephanie betraying Vince in 1999 would have made it on this list if it were Test she betrayed instead. The story could have had so much more dimension and intrigue. If only WWE didn't put on a boring 40-minute no holds barred match prior to the betrayal, and the match didn't suck so bad. Just put Test in there, and bam, the story would have been great.
shout out to u guys for a nice photo bomb on Adam Cole instagram.... spotted Larson beard a mile away
Obvious hint at a Larson heel turn. Or FUN/WSteveW betrayal
Larson has been a heel for a while, thats why he wont too sweet Steve
Meltzer confirmed it.
my theory is that after every session, when they turn off the cameras Larson gives Steve a 2sweet as like a heel turn on all of us!
(sorry for the caps) BUT WHO'S SIDE IS HE ON?!?!
bigstupidgrin
someone message Meltzer and ask him!
why no mfsteve doing the guy from cops voice anymore?
TOP 10 ANIME BETRAYALS VIDEO WOOHOO
Top 10 anime betrayals
Is the Perfect 10 podcast hosted by Ty Dillinger?
I hope know that HHH has Owens now he gets some one like Neville and other NXT people and makes an all NXT stable and goes against Vince or has them as his bodyguards
Kyle Prue Neville would be perfect and it could help the Cruiserweight division by having its champion in spotlight with KO and Joe
top 10 anime betrayals
Isn't Sting like the most betrayable guy in wrestling history?
Agcpm honestly sting got shat on constantly
My guess before I watch is, in either order Shawn Michaels betraying Marty Janetty and Hulk Hogan betraying everyone are the top two
Josh Culver it wouldn't surprise me
Clearly the best betrayal was Nikki Bella on Brie Bella
Surprised there was no Orndorff/ Hogan
My favorite betrayal happened in when turned on in Turdcutter, Iowa in .
woo.
Hopefully the Randy vs Bray split up will be good enough to be in this list.
Savage v Hogan should be higher on this list.
Notification squad, where are you at?!
I'M THE MAAAAAAAN
You guys should check out the promo with Flair pleading with Sting to be his tag partner. He brought a bunch of children to the ring to make sure Sting would say yes. It was awesome.
I would've put Triple H's turn on Shawn Michaels on the list ahead of Evolution turning on Orton. Jericho's turn on HBK in 2008 should've been up here, NOT KO turning on Jericho.
My favorite betrayal was when Bad News Allen turned on Archie "the Stomper" Gouldie and Gouldie's "son" Jeff in Stampede Wrestling back in 1983. The Stomper's promo after the betrayal is wrestling gold.
k.o/jericho made it.Cool
I hate that advertisement
Shield vs Rollins
before the match with the horseman in Halloween Havoc, Arn and Pillman "attacked" Ric and send him to the hospital. Pretty much making that mach into a handicap match. But later on Ric comes back with street clothes and a bandage in the head.
Best part of that match is Flair strutting and whooing before being tagged in, and Sting screaming: NAITCH! With Flair responding: Stand Tall!
I think Steve and Larson are reading Kevin Owens body language and stuff wrong. The list of Owens with Jerichos name on it. Owens had to have wanted the breakup for him to have made that. I don't think Triple H made it for him, because why would he. He could care less what happens to Jericho, I doubt he'd make Owns a list just to do that kind of swerve on him.
IF it's the knee injury I'm thinking of, hasn't Jim Cornette said that Sting was injured by security when he jumped the barricade? I could be completely wrong.
Don't know if anyone is aware that the last thing Chris Jericho put on the List was "Friendship".
:'(
Hey Friendos, seeing as you reference HHH betrayal of Orton on this episode it got me thinking....just wondering if you've watched Max Landis' 'Wrestling isn't Wrestling' ?
Hogan was the heel in that Hogan vs Savage feud. Hogan had the lust in his eyes
The biggest thing about Marty Jannetty was that he could not stay clean. I remember he came back for a one off match in 2009 against The Miz and put on a great match. The WWE offered him a part time contract and all he had to do was show up at their next show and no showed..
unskipable ads are lame.
The Sting, Flair tag match is great, b/c Sting cries for "Nature Boy!" while in submission.
What about Stephanie turning on Vince?
The reason Flair didn't take much offense at Halloween Havoc '95 was because he didn't show up for about 10-15 minutes, waited on the apron for another 5 minutes or so then Sting got the tag to Flair and then Flair turned on him.
Honorable mention, Paul Bearer turns on The Undertaker and aligns with Mankind after The Boiler Room Brawl at Summerslam 1996
As a little boy I loved the 1-2-3 Kid and despite that he lost a lot he was still one of my favorite wrestlers... It was pretty devastating to me when he betrayed Razor Ramon and joined the million dollar team.
i remember the Macho Man\Hogan feud, being a kid watching i wondered why the hell are they fighting, just watch the video and they would be friends again
tully failed a drug test and was fired from the company. That is why he lost his horseman spot.
Just went back and watched the Orton festival including his speech before the betrayal for the first time. I am baffled by how good Orton is. WHERE DID RANDY ORTON GO?!
while it doesn`t really excuse his actions there have been talks/rumours that savage might have had bipolar disorder and its somewhat known that he had ocd
I feel like H betraying Shawn Michaels (Leading to his in-ring return at Summerslam '02) should have gotten it's own entry. Kind of like The Shield, original DX got broken up before it got stale, and I feel like people REALLY wanted to see them reunite, so, when H turned around in mid-catchphrase to Pedigree Shawn, especially with him having been a face that whole year up to that point, I don't think anyone really saw it coming.
I think triple h is really good on the Mike and he's really good at wrestling. he knows how to tell a fantastic story in the ring
shield betrayl
if you guys were the rockers, who would be shawn and who would be janetti?
I have to say, I really love you guys. But, that affection for Michael Hayes rubs me the wrong way. I know lots of wrestlers are/were not great people, but the fact that he has such a long history of being a racist, as well many other things and yet is still high up in the company bugs me. Not to mention the fact that his past is hardly ever brought up.
A big part of Randy getting the strap was so WWE had a "youngest champ" when Brock left as the youngest champ ever.
i never minded 10-15 min videos but i just can devote 45 plus minutes to see a top ten list. can you make shorter versions of these videos
Troy Jensen nope
Troy Jensen "look at me! I have a life I can't watch two guys talk about wrestling for an hour", that's you! (jk :)
Troy Jensen You're really gonna hate the 6 hour long Top 5 videos they have planned.
then subscribe to a channel that has short form videos...or add ot to your watch later and pick it up anytime you want??? youtube isnt hard to use correctly
Bulk Bogan I dunno CZcams can be hard, I keep jamming the USB cable in my peehole, is that right?
Honorable mentions. Rock betrayed Faruq. Nation of Domination .Steiners/ Scot betrays Rick, And The Hardys/ Matt betrays Jeff
I was in shock when Hogan turned bad , great times
The second hottest feud is Eddie Edwards vs Davie Richards in my opinion and this happened before the Owens turns on Jericho
All of this got me thinking how much fun it could be if KO is able to turn the tables on Triple H. I'm imagining Triple H in the ring with him at Wrestlemania. He makes it clear that he manipulated KO to attack Jericho in order to break them up so that he could give the belt to Samoa Joe. But before they can attack Jericho and Rollins come out from underneath the ring and together they stand tall over Triple H and Samoa Joe.
If you can do it right you can turn KO into an anti authority figure which has worked in the past, give Jericho a fun way to leave for a while and give Rollins a chance to be a wrestlemania even if he isn't 100% at the time.
lol "true wrestling fans"
Bullet Club lays out Styles, removing him from the club, and making Kenny Omega the "leader"
what if Cena joined Triple H's New Faction?
Do you guys ever feel like Satan is inside you?
ElBribri No. Sometimes my mom refers to him as the Kiddy Fiddler Jerry. I'm not quite sure what that means, but I think it's 'cause he plays the violin.
