Hey ! I want to use a vertical stand for my dell inspiron 5515 but is that risky for the screen panel or something else while gaming or doing heavy tasks ? Or its gonna help for cooling (sorry for my english)
Love the vertical laptop stand and your speakers! 😇 Love your setup overall man its great! 👌😃 in the future you can buy a fanless laptop 😉 but maybe not for games. I play games on stadia so I have a fanless chromebook.
Thanks for the comment! Hope you sub if you haven’t already. Good suggestion with the fan less laptop. With all the 4K editing i do, I think those fans are a must lol.
@@RoyFlorez Yes 4K editing is heavy man! I edit videos on my windows and sometimes chromebook. But most of the time my chromebook for Website designing in FIgma and editing logo's etc. The simple stuff. Itś also perfect for editing Wordpress sites
I have a legion 5i and it has a bump on the lid for facecam. Will mounting the laptop vertically harm the screen or the camera bump in any way as all of the weight of the laptop is on the screen and the bump.
@@josephlumbog961 Do they describe about how long can it damage screen in closed lid? I don't know about how can screen in closed lid could get damaged, i think people who make laptop stand guaranteed the laptop screen does not get damage if lid closed at any durations of how long it being in laptop stand, i believe the laptop stand being tested before selling to customers, and manufacturing it for public
@@RoyFlorez It's also possible to just turn it into standby and wake it with mouse or keyboard later. But I strictly recommend a restart of the system at least every 2-3 Days
In bios you can set: computer to turn on after click ctrl + esc
Interesting! I actually didn't know that. I'll give it a try
@@RoyFlorez it works?
Getting a gaming laptop tomorrow. I plan to just prop it up like a tent, without the need to buy this. Glad it helps cooling in this position.
I want to buy a vertical stand for laptop bur how do I turn it on every single time? (The button is under the lid)

does lid closed cause any heat damage to screen panel?
I haven’t experienced anything like that. I’ve been using this stand for a while and it’s all good. Just like any other setup like this.
@@RoyFlorez Thank you for your answer☺️
Great review!

You just have to pull it out every time unless your laptop has thunderbolt and a docking station.
