I miss 2021 Eurovision. A year ago I started being Eurovision lover more than ever! I thought this year will be better. Ukraine won as we expected… I think their emotivns aren’t that big when they won beacuse I think they knew they will win. When Maneskin won, I still feel much emotions while watching them winning for the 10485829 time! I am not gonna hate but I think 2021 was much stronger and more unique . Just remember, Zitti e buoni, El diablo, Mata Hari, Dark side, Loco Loco, (this time Konstrakta was much better), The roop…. Energy was bigger! I am today feeling very nostalgic about 21 Eurovision.
This year, energetic were Subwoolfer, Konstrakta, Rasmus, chanel (but I don’t like the song). And then? Only theese countries sent unique things! But ok. It is better not to win your country but u have peace in your country, then to win but your country is in terrible war.
Still confused about how Italy won last year.

I don't get why people think 2019 is weak its one of the strongest years but yea 2022 is the best year out of them
2019 is imo the worst esc year, none of the songs were REALLY good and the only song that was was disqualified (Ukraine). The winning song was eh, but now terrible since Americans found it and ruined it. Still a good contest, just the worst imo

Completely agree with Austria 2018, it is my all time favorite Eurovision song. On the other hand I disagree with Estonia 2021, this years entry is much much better, unfortunately the staging they are planning to do is terrible

In my opinion Portugal 2019 is the worst ever. Those lirics don't let me think about the meaning behind them (the words "escangalhei o telemóvel" made me turn it off). I didn't watch ESC that year because of that song.

What is the reason why Belarus didn't participated?
They were kicked out of the 2021 contest because the song (and its backup) that was going to be performed violated the rules against making political statements - it was literally a hidden message about being for the Lukashenko regime
