The treasure compass resets its cooldown once you open the scouted chest, now getting maps to 100% is faster than ever
Don't know why they didn't do the same with the resonance stones. 300 seconds cooldown is ridiculous

I'm so excited for the compass update. Dev's are making painful things easier. Fishing, multi layer map etc. I mean peak pain was people searching for Cyno scarabs.

We have access to weekly bosses Qol since 4.2.
After the gruelling freemogem farming sessions I have had for the past months, all for Neuvi and Kazuha, I am actually looking forward to procrastinate this patch, put my legs up and relax, buy a welkin or two to eventually get ready for Furina rerun.

His VA and charname was annouced in the offical genshin fb page after the livestream, but i think the other social media too.
Sethos was announced both on jp and finally eng Twitter pages (usually only jp would get those to promote VAs). Also, apparently in the scene with Cyno (?) you can actually see his vision from a small angle. Apparently he is electro. Idk how to feel about it but some people think this kind of makes sense since the stream implies one or both of them were supposed to have hermanubis' powers. I'm pretty sure Cyno got his powers before he got his vision though... anyway.
i have never seriously explored the map because it takes too much hassle. But now, with this QOF of showing treasure on the map, I wanna start to explore (I'm an AR 60 who are too lazy to explore)

Sethos is most likely the Natlan story/region catalyst to the story just like how Collei was to Sumeru.
They officially announced Sethos’ voice actors and his name with them, so he’s becoming playable for sure. Also at Hoyo they tried their best to hide it but you can still see parts of his vision from some angles and it’s Electro
I'm just really glad she's playable

Her normal attack kind of pulls enemy closer. Is it only small enemy or medium enemy are also affected?
The only thing im looking forward to is the new map and story, arlechinno is not what i want for my account so its an easy skip since characters that come out later in the region get easily powercrept once the new region and are usually very niche, this is for dps units. The support units later in a region definitely have better value. Might get her on my second account but probably wont build her for at least 9 months
Map and finishing off the tree for me, and I guess that combat event could be okay.
DPS characters are pretty much all skippable these days. There's no reason to skip because they might be powercrept, since all of them can be used to clear the content. The important thing is to build teams (so pick a DPS and get them the teammates they want), and having teams able to handle the most common situations. That said, I'll be skipping Arl because she seems like a bit like Hu Tao but with an annoying mechanic, and I already have a Hu Tao I barely use. I don't see myself using her, even if I were to get her. So easy skip for me as well.

im so sad that arle is paired with lyney because i already have his bow from lyney yelan banner and i want arle's weapon. But there's no way i want to have 2 lyney's weapon when i dont even have and dont like him. I want my acc to have variability even though its a good stat stick weapon but i'd rather have 1 great magic and 1 aqua/polar star if it had to be another 5* bow. Hell, i'd even take wanderer's bell than a limited 5* dupe

Having furina might be good but she drain hp so it might be dangerous? Using mona might be the best as well as kazuha and lastly just put shielder

On one hand I think Arlecchino's kit looks way too similar to Hu taos, almost a copy paste with a small touch up, full on "can I borrow your homework? yes just don't make it too obvious" kinda situation, which feels a bit sad, but on the other hand I use my Hu tao in every single abyss that has a boss or 2-3 really chonky enemies, which is all of them, and for some of those abysses I wish I had a second Hu tao...so welcome home second Hu tao!

Am I the only one getting a bit tired of Itto in an event practically every patch nowadays?? I realize his english VA is phenomenal but there are so many other characters who have more to offer than their personality just being a himbo LOL

Yes. There was a post on reddit exactly about this. He has been in about 50% of the patches after he got release. Which is a LOT considering there a lot of other characters that we haven't seen in a while. Forcing him like this is making people less and less happy about him. Is at the point of annoying

I was never a fan of Itto, but ever since the event where we were in the Inazuma forest and everything was spooky and all, the part where Itto basically asked the traveler to help him bully people out of the competition (yes i know, hes dumb and he doesnt know you shouldnt do it but still) - I disliked that SO much. Ever since that point I usually skip all his dialogues (has nothing to do with the VA) because I just don't need him in my Genshin experience anymore.
THIS OMG. i dont like him or his personality??? and hes just being FORCED there?? i want characters that haven't been there instead of him SO MANY CHARACTERS with so much BETTER personalities.

Very confused about the free Gorou. Presumably everyone that has Itto has at least one gorou and the people that don't have gorou probably don't have Itto either.
I seriously hate to be that guy, but outside of the hype around Arlecchino and Remuria, I'm just tired of the story feeling pretty "stale" after 4.2. Here's what I mean. In Sumeru by this point we got the Inversion of Genesis and Caribert quests, as well as Nahida II, three missions that perfectly expanded both the region and plotlines established. By contrast, after 4.2, we haven't learned anything new about Fontaine, it's key players or things like the Abyss and the twin. It's almost like the five archon quests drained them of a story to be told.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy having filler versions in between to not be overwhelmed by the lore dumps, but after 4 patches of them being radio silent on that end, I'm starting to get really anxious.
(The fact that I'm also growing tired of seeing Itto's face on every single event doesn't help either. Come on my dude, you had Xinyan right there, stop wasting characters with meaningful traits just to make room for the same "dumb oni" joke.)
Completely agree with you. Also, I'm tired of Itto too. They are forcing him too much to be relevant. There's a lot of characters we haven't seen in a while like Ei, Sara or Thoma for simple examples.
I agree but expect this specific patch to be more lore heavy because of the region we're opening and the boss.

@@showon4807 nope it's zero, we have the beta already and Arlecchinno is the only new unit. Sethos will be in the story but it's rumored to appear only in 4.7 as playable. 4*s with high chance of appearing are Lynnete (almost guaranteed), Chevrousse and maybe Freminet or Bennet on the last slot.
