@@Scootxthe thing about Rick and Morty is that they don't really care about reveals. They'll just drop it on you and just leave you with a bunch of questions. Dont expect any explanations of anything that happens, they kinda mentioned at the beginning of this season that they just want to riff and have fun. They dont like explaining stuff

The Beth reveal isnt satisfying for the answer but it does keep adding more to how Rick feels. He couldn't live knowing he sent away his daughter so left it up to chance and couldn't handle not knowing either. He is a terrible fathers
We've never gotten a season where they covered everything in the intro. There's always one or two things in the intro that end up in the season and the rest of it's just random

In the Rick and Morty game (I believe it was Pocket Morty's) we see the options for both Earth Beth and Space Beth, and in their descriptions we can find out who is the clone. As the name for Space Beth is registered as "Clone Beth", so that means the space version is the clone, as even at the current season we have yet to be directly told, and it's kind of just been brushed aside.

Plot twist: it will turn out neither is the real Beth and she is sleeping somewhere while the two clones, the two conflicting sides of her, live out the lives she can't choose for herself.
When I saw that CERTIFIED Jerry moment for the first time I yelled at my pc for solid 5 minutes before realising Rick probably just deleted that traumatic memory later. Cuz NO WAY I just keep going on, either Jerry or I WILL end up fckn dead.

Most of the episodes in rick and morty as a whole doesn't follow a plot it just has story points. Most of it is random.
