I’ve had so many people complain of being scammed for no reason
As every other airports, upon arrival we have steps to follow like going through #immigration for #biometrics and also luggage collection. What makes Douala airport complicated is that immigration officers stand at the door of the plane to control passport. You redore Covid test even if you’ve been tested from country of departure, you présent yellow fever vaccination certificate before finally arriving at final immigration to get exit stamp
Also if should be pre informed that of you are traveling an transporting commercial items like dresses , hand bags, electronics etc the customers will charge you an you’ll have to declare

Almost complete report: it took me 2 hours after landing at douala airport to meet my brother in the car park in front of the airport.

Covid certificate isn’t still a requirement. Just yellow fever is enough.

How many minutes or hours can it take a passenger to onboard the plane, and go through the necessary checks to the point where they can get out of the airport?
Hello joy. It’s depends how busy the airports is at the day. Like how many passenger arrived with other airlines. As you can see in the video , where there was congestion at the immigration it may delay everyday. Approximately Let’s just say 20-30mins.

I hope cameroon gets a new airport.This one is embarrassing at all levels. It resembles a local bus/taxi park in bonaberi. It is simply chaotic and dysfunctional in organisational terms.
