- This is a gorgeous garden-centric monastery themed three building, three bedroom, three bath home that was for rent (but is no longer available at this time) in the reparto of Veracruz in the municipality of Sutiava in León, Nicaragua. Amazing salons or living rooms (sala in Spanish) with high ceilings. A private central large garden, a private side garden and a giant front and side garden area make this an amazing opportunity for a green thumbed individual. Also a turn around driveway and parking for at least five cars makes this a steal at $420/month! Just off of the Poneloya road means easy access to both Leon the city and the Poneloya & Las Penitas beach zones.

Thanks!
wow, thank you!!
Wow!
That house is perfection!! Id park my car in the circular diveway, open the gate to the back while i was home and have an amazing dog yard!!! Those ceilings are beautiful, but i don't want to climb up that high to change light bulbs 😬.
Wow! That house is amazing! I really like those arched windows.
I know you have explained it, but the barbed wire…
Scott what are your favorite small towns or villages under 10K people? In the north amd south? Love your channel
Wow that's a tough one. I have no idea how to address that. Loads of small towns all over, but rarely do you spend time in them as they tend to have no resources. Hmmm.... maybe that's a good topic for "today".
Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful ceilings, railings, gardens!
This is more along the lines of what we would be looking to BUY. Hopefully with land! In fairness this has a bit of land anyway!
Starting to think we will rent a small modern apartment when the time is right. Perhaps furnished if that's a thing? I know in places like SJDS there are more furnished apartments that people use for income right?
Do rental apartments exist in Leon or are they more Managua/SJDS?
Yeah, I have that same question about rental apartments in Leon. I really hope Scott does a show about rental apartments in Leon and Esteli.
@@kmadan55 I'd like to see more info on Esteli and also Matagalpa. The weather there is so much cooler.
@@kmadan55 I mean I would/will, have no problem renting one of the small houses if necessary, but I think for comfort and lack of need in renovating and/or, buying appliances, furniture and the like, and even entire kitchens in some cases, if there are furnished modern or even somewhat modern apartments anywhere in Leon, that could be a game changer. Perhaps a new/potential, market Scott?
Apartments exist, but not much like you would picture and almost never furnished.
I'm sure that they exist in Esteli, but barely. Leon has a few. Definitely rare. Furnished is the hardest thing. I have seen some cool ones here, but they are the exception, not the rule. I'm going to see if I can get in to film some.
Hi Scott cool house! have you done a video on how the economy works in Nicaragua? Who they trade with what is traded How are the roads and utilities paid for? Where does their energy come from? Any trade ageements with say China Mexico Russia? I ontice the roads are in good condition who pays for that?
Taxes pay for everything. Only seems impossible because most large countries are so deeply corrupt that when you have a government actually using taxes to do public works instead of pocketing the money or paying off buddies who own fake companies, it takes very little to get a lot done. There's no magic to it, just don't have a super corrupt government. It's actually amazing how cheap like building a road or a stadium is when you don't have hundreds or thousands of politicians and their cronies with pockets to line. When you buy parts at the same prices as the public, but marked up 10x to win a fake government contract.
Energy is locally produced. We have hydro-electric damns, wind mills all over the country, solar farms and, of course, geo-thermal on the volcanos.
@@ScottAlanMillerVlog Thanks Scott much appreciated reply awesome sources of energy and kudos to a system that works
Wow really nice House! How much would it cost to buy ca?
Very hard to guess. This one isn't for sale. Something in this area would likely be around $100K.
Are there any smaller casitas? I will be alone. Birdie won’t land until I find a home for us… 🐩 💃
2 bedrooms for visitors?
Hum take it back. A subject for when I am there! 🤔😉😂
Reparto Veracruz has a few smaller places. A few small attached ones are just being finished being built, in fact.
Man! Show the House first!!!!! Than say ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY!!! YOU TALK WAY TOO MUCH!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!
