i agree with most of ur list except for the godspeed arc. imo the godspeed arc felt weak due to the writers comparing godspeed to reverse flash, zoom, and savitar. godspeed should be his own character with different motivations to distinguish him from the other evil speedsters on the show. his motivations were basically ripped off from zoom saying that he wants “infinite velocity” and to basically be the fastest. bart and the rest of team flash kept calling him “bart’s reverse flash” and august called himself a god i believe too. which i feel like kind of diminishes the character. im not saying he has to be like his comic book counterpart because honestly i loved what they did with zoom’s character. they needed to distinguish him from eobard and they did. and it worked out great. godspeed in the comics was not just another evil speedster and the writers made sure to have him be different from the others which is why i feel like he’s loved a lot in the comics. great job with the list though 👍
Well Godspeed in the comics has a similar story to zoom from the show they’re basically the same

Even if it's not as clear a distinction as the other seasons, I think you could kind of split Season 1 into two arcs. Episodes 1-10 is the "Origin arc", climaxing with The Flash's fight against the Rogues where he officially reveals himself to the city. Then the rest of the season (besides the Firestorm two parter) is where the "Reverse Flash" arc really takes focus.
I complete agree with the Savitar ranking when he’s CG he’s super menacing but when he comes a physical suit he drops in my opinion

As someone who binged season 4, the body swapping wasn’t better than it was for week by week viewers, I felt like skipping ahead everytime Devoe in another body was in a scene that Barry wasn’t in

The second to last episode of Season 4 definitely has my favorite villain scene. The intro to that episode showing Davoe going ham with all his powers on Argus was amazing to see

10:23 Definite nitpicks like how Killer Frost killed Black Flash w/ ice powers, when E-2 Killer Frost did the exact same thing to Zoom in 2x14 when Zoom was close to killing Jesse Wells.
Man I really enjoyed the Reverse Flash & Zoom arcs, so well done minus the weaker ending storyline (Zoom Arc).
Tbh the only ones I really didn't enjoy were the Forces, Mirror & Godspeed. Godspeed could've been so cool but I just couldn't take that dork seriously.

yall gonna disagree with me but season 3 is better than 2 in my opinion i loved 3 alot savatar was the pinnical of the flash villains i love zoom but i didnt like his motives just to be faster (and no him wanting to get a cure for his speed isnt a main motive more of a side motive his real motive is to just be faster compared to savatar where he hates the flash cause he treated him unfairly. Again i dont hate zoom or season 2, I just think they should have done a bit more with it like why does he want to be faster.

The villains all vary in speed and Barry’s speed in always inconsistent. The writers just make him slower than the current evil speedster and call it a day.

I think that the body swapping was all necessary because of the fact that if he didn't he would have died, if he just took thier powers he would have died by the 3rd episode

I think DeVoe would’ve worked much better as a villain for one of these graphic novels Eric Wallace is doing. That way, the first 2 or 3 episodes are just him as the classic comic book Thinker, then he frames Barry at the end of the 3rd episode, who is in prison for another 2 or 3 episodes, and while Barry is stuck in prison, DeVoe is body-swapping because there is no Flash to stop him. Then Barry can get out of prison, we can have the Ralph death episode and then 3 more episodes of Neil Sandilands OP DeVoe to finish the storylines. So this way, episodes 1-9 are condensed into the first 3, episodes 10-13 are condensed into the next 3, episodes 14-17 are just side stories during the prison episodes, episode 18 stays mostly the same, then episodes 19-23 are condensed into 2 episodes. Throw Enter Flashtime in the middle of it, either as part of the graphic novel or as a quick interlude episode, and that’s a fairly concise storyline.
Cicada II was a continuation of the Cicada arc so it was the same storyline
I’d swap Devoe and Savitar, other than that 100% agree! Mainly because I enjoyed the Savitar reveal honestly. I called it as soon as the “I’m the future Flash” line was said. Plus I feel I disliked the body swapping part of the Devoe arc a little more than you did so I have to rank it lower. Other than that, we have the same ranking
so, contravercial opinion: I like the musical episode, but as a stand alone episode especially, the main reason is I like that because most of the actors in the arrow verse are former or current broadway actors and have lots of singing experience examples:
John barrowman aka Malcom merlin currently on broadway, Victor Garbor aka Pro. Stein same as John barrowman, Jesse L Martin aka Joe west was also on broadway, Grant gustin aka Barry he has a Musical theatre backround as well as a tap dancing background, Carlos Valdez aka Cisco, Melissa Benoist aka Kara/ supergirl, and last but not least Jeremy Jordan aka Win on supergirl has been on broadway and still currently is.

Bloodwork storyline was an A but the last two episodes were amazing and just perfect.
I really liked the first half of Savitar storyline especially the visuals.
The reason why I gave Godspeed storyline an A is because we just came from the Forces storyline and Godspeed storyline was better even though the story only deserves B.
Alchemy storyline was a let down for me, just got done with season 2 and the Flashpoint was hinted but it wasn't fully utilized to its fullest potential.
I gave the Second Cicada storyline a C just because of the last episode of the Reverse Flash.
6:53 I agree Zoom’s plan was underwhelming.

@@MartinGbizies-jb2nw the problem with zoom and his plans is that they were all over the place he wanted to steal Barry's Speed because he was dying from taking velocity and then he wanted to prove he "could be like him" while both are good motivations for a character you can't just flip one and the other on and off like a light switch.
I think if they had him steal his speed and then shatter his spine in the first half of the season opening the breach for all the Earth to villains to come through without a flash to stop them, only for him to comeback at the halfway point and eventually kill off Henry in the end out of desperation that his plan is failing no longer being in control of Central City.
I always thought that the TV version of Hunter zolomon felt like an Eddie Brock to Barry Allen's Peter Parker. ZOOM really borrowed more from Venom than the actual character he was based on.

Unuh i really loved the devoe story its quite understandable motivation and story and savitar arc wasnt THAT bad it did have some really bad stuff though and the armageddon arc was great aswell and despero was fantastic s1 and s2 stories are MAGNEFICENT still zoom was horrifying s5 to me was bad but certain elements were decently done s6 b is underrated it was great imo except tht valentines ep which was meh s6 a was great and bloodwork was amazing the forces storyline was ok not has bad as i thought but not great but ok godspeed storyline was so rushed it needed 2 more eps so thts my opinion
I agree season 6 is a pretty underrated season with bloodwork being a good villain and mirror monarch/the black hole plot I thought was pretty good but when it comes to early season 7 with the whole force storyline could've been really good with what had going on but messed up with the writing/dialougue with its characters and the forces referring to themselves as children
Season 1 = S (obviously, ‘tis a masterpiece!)
Season 2 = A (it’s a good storyline and Zoom makes a great villain, but overall it’s a carbon copy of the S1 storyline, except, in my opinion, the villain was weaker with a lack of actual motive and endgame plan)
Season 3A = B (I struggled whether A or B for this one, but I loved the Flashpoint episode, though I wish it had’ve been a few eps longer and we’d have explored the FP world a little more, and the Dr Alchemy mystery was good)
Season 3B = C (it wasn’t the best and the Savitar being Barry thing was too obvious and also the villain origin didn’t actually make much sense to me, though his motives were half-alright. The wanting to live aspect worked for me and is understandable, but the wanting to be a god and etc,… this is still supposed to be Barry and Barry just wouldn’t do that 🤷🏻♀️)
Season 4 = A (I liked the Devoe storyline and I actually like it more and more as I rewatch. Good villain and I personally was pleased to have a non-speedster villain for a change)
Season 5A = C (hated this storyline; it was boring and nonsensical to me and I’ve always hated Nora so this season always leaves a bad taste for me because she features so heavily)
Season 5B = B (still hate this season storyline overall, but having RF as the architect of the entire thing actually made it better for me and make more sense as to why certain things happened in the story.)
Season 6A = C (I actually hated this storyline.. or lack-there-of, in my opinion. This whole first half of S6 was just a lead-up to crisis and Barry preparing the team for his disappearance, even though we all knew he wasn’t actually going to vanish! So the Bloodwork storyline itself just seemed minuscule and the storyline was pathetic. I just didn’t like it and feel it could’ve been done a whole lot better.)
Season 6B = F (not much to say about this one, expect it sucked. Iris spent however long in the mirrorverse and yet there was no exploration of that world at all until right at the very very end. The twist with MM I quite liked but the ending was just awful. And I’m including the whole MM storyline, not just the technical S6 episodes. The whole thing was poorly done)
Season 7A = F (this. storyline. sucked. so. much!!!! And you know what? I was actually a fan of the comic book version! Oh yeah, so many people hate this story in the comics but I actually liked it. But how they did it in the show made no sense and the motives of the characters and the character of SF “Nora” as well and the whole thing really was just terrible. There’s honestly not a single good thing I can think of to say about this storyline, or any episode from it.
Season 7B = C (it was awful. The “interlude” shouldn’t have happened at all, so that we could’ve had just one more episode, if not two, of this Godspeed arc, so that we maybe perchance could’ve had some semblance of a storyline. But that didn’t happen. This sucked. Godspeed was a shitty villain and I know this could’ve been handled so much better.)
Armageddon = B (it was good compared to the last 3 seasons but it felt really disjointed to me. It may have been a connected storyline but each episode felt individual, like with the old crossovers when you could tell which show was running each episode, it just didn’t feel like a single narrative to me. I liked the storyline of RF being behind it for his reasons but it shouldn’t have taken 3 episodes to get there. And just like with Flashpoint 1.0, we only had a single episode to explore that world. It was definitely good and I enjoyed watching it, but it wasn’t perfect)
And that’s my ranking. My opinion on the storylines of the Flash.

I totally agree with the ranking of storylines Pagey made, but as he said no judgements here. Most of the storyline were basic and original but overall they were a fantastic addition to the show and i hope more ideas like these are meteralised.
List is great. My only note is I would swap Bloodwork’s arc and Armageddon.

I absolutely agree with your ranking. The worst of all is the forces storyline and yes, Armageddon was so great. It was very exciting.
Season 2 is my favorite season even though I think season 1 is objectively the best if that makes sense. I just really enjoyed Zoom and for me the finale is one favorite episodes of the flash

I actually enjoyed most of season 5, so I would put it in A tier. I would put the back half of cicada at c tier. Devoe would go down to B for me. The force storyline is in my opinion better than the mirror storyline.

Good list. I'd only really change Eva down to F, the way that storyline ended was ridiculous. Season 7 as a whole was such a huge step up after the last few seasons, I honestly almost lost hope lol

I agree almost completely with you but the godspeed storyline of S7 could be A if you don't consider the fillers. It was good. And the F teams well I slightly disagree but yeah they were not better than the rest.
I’d say Mirror Monarch should be an F, the Forces a C, and Armageddon an A. The rest are spot on in my opinion.
If in season 5 episode 8 cisco breached the dagger to the dead earth or something and they stopped cicada then did something different for the rest of season 5 it would be a good season

If the sage force was the villan and the mother father stuff wasn't there I think it would have been really good. And I think if the speed force was only there for 1 or 2 episodes it would have made it even better.
i would have put savitar a little higher. and godspeed i feel like you didnt do him justice for the character he was in the ending parts of season seven i woul dhave put him up higher aswell. otherwise i agree tbh
I feel like there should be 3rd storyline for season 6 which would be Crisis
