I love the Canadian version of this show soo good I learn a lot from it myself and there are no unneeded anger, fights or edgy fits. It's just enjoyable to watch and real people connecting over food in a competitive way

I think they way play up the rage and anger in the American show for the ratings. He seems like a good guy most of the time like he has broken down multiple times and cried over people’s stories and certain moments.

Literally the only challenges he didn't win were the ones he was ineligible for due to winning the previous challenge. Season 2 was a competition for second place from day 1 and everybody knew it (which is saying a lot, there were some great cooks)
