    8:04 No that wasn't inhale phonation. Just an F1 sub with his mouth closed 😄
    11:45 Yeah, Geoff was navigating sustained subs (F1, G1, G#1, A#1) then he jumped to a chest C4 then back down to C3 then hit C2 multiple times before stopping.
    This guy is a true bass athlete 😄

      It was in the town Eli grew up, but I don't think they confirmed that was the high school he attended. From snippets of stories VP has told in the past, I think Eli had moved to Orlando by then.

    Warriors was filmed in a working warehouse on the Orlando area. (I believe that also filmed the Panic videos there also.) This was filmed 60 miles away in Eli’s old (abandoned) high school in Leesburg. For the BTS video, Eli and Kathy explored deep into the basement with only their phone lights to discover some artifacts from a horror movie that was filmed there. They were the brave ones!

  • @lkayh
    @lkayh Před 2 lety +17

    Yeah, I keep meaning to say something about how great Eli’s full beard looks. And those riffs! He’s so good! And for this song, could you imagine any other featured guest? Omar had to be the first person Geoff thought of. And Layne-what was THAT? Cesar looks FIERCE, and as always his solos leave me wanting more. And then there’s Geoff’s subs coming out of the basement of Hades. These guys are just topping themselves every single video these days. This has a very different energy from the Aerosmith version, but it’s awesome. I just wish it was LONGER.
    Great reaction, Qofy!

    VoicePlay definite killed this song,every parts and every of them is amazing,We all know they are A Cappella group but I really love the vocal effect touch in this song,it make this version the best and most epic,cant control but going back to listen again and again. Your reaction video is always relateable,love it that you listen to the whole song first then we got the analysis❤️

  • @cyndisanimaladventures6370

    I am sorry but VoicePlay just kicked Aerosmith's version to the curb. And that is coming from a lifelong Aerosmith fanatic. I think I prefer this over the original. Bought it halfway through the premier. The three-part Dream On by Eli, Omar, and Cesar had me freaking out in my car. As for Layne... I'm calling this his helicopter sound effect. The whole thing is incredible. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
    Also, this could definitely be a follow up to Warriors

      @@laundrygoddess4 I had early access so I had more time to lusten to it and get my head round it... I had expected Eli to do the a big rock scream.... Maybe for that reason, he didn't... He'd taken a lot of lead in semi rock tone... And as usual when Geoff is arranging vp he took a step back to allow the others to showcase.... But having listened to it a lot more over last couple of days... I think that it was probably deliberately done to showcase Cesar and Omar... I love the original and i do love rock/metal. But in this particular version and it being VP... Would a metal scream have suited it?? (omg, did i just say that? I must be going mellow lol)
