Russia and Prussia taking on the whole HRE, Ottomans coming in to save the day, the compete absence of Britian, killing Burgundy with a Netherlands to the face, and the fact that they dismantle the HRE and Prussia becomes Germany afterwards. It's called Burgundian Inheritance, scripted event, HRE Emperor, Spain and countries that have RM with Burgundy can inherit provinces of Burgundy that are parto of HRE (rest goes to France).
On a side note... My first game that I played as the Kabab I received a message about the Burgundian inheritance. I looked north to see who had claimed the land and it was NOT Spain nor Austria.... not even France...... It had gone to Brunswick..... really strange turn of events.
