I really liked that in Morrowind, were one of the antagonists would just acknowledged that the player can just save and reload to to make him win, and that would be the reason he wont fight you.

Skenderbeg is easiest one to do, basically you stack wipe them with 16k vs 30 And also restart till ottomans take ramazan as first ally, so they don't have any help against skenderbeg and you don't have to go and siege crimea or some shit

I remember the one time I succeeded as byzantium, I conquered the Balkans, started the invasion of Hungary and took most of anatolia. Them wallachia declared war on me with Russia. After that Naples attack me with aaragon along with a third war by the mamelukes.
i once defeated the ottomans easily when the mamluks, Hungary, and other major powers all declared war on the ottomans at once. as their troops struggle to hold their territory, I quietly took back greece
I always found it weird that my first attempt went smoothly and I reached max loans just as they became willing to give up all their land in greece. But my every attempt after that first campaign resulted in no one being willing to ally me and the ottomans gunning for me from day 1.

The most powerful idea in EU IV is "Save Scumming" It allows the player to jump back several years or more in time to foresee events.
I do it a lot when I keep gettin bs pop ups like negative -1 stab right after I just spent admin to get it up

You can still do something similar to that, albiet it's a bit hard, if they fight Hungary. The Anatolian side of the straits don't have forts.
The modern way of doing this is conquering Corfu and Negroponte from Veince. Lure the Ottomans their, and then trap them.
