My aim wasn't to become a big empire, my goal was to redo the Komnenos restoration, and then retake Anatolia. Blobbing into a massive empire is not interesting, and there's dozens of videos about 'restoring the Roman empire'. That wasn't the goal.
@@ByzantineBob96 I understand that and but I haven't played for months and it was rare to see other empires get big, they usually fall apart. But maybe it has something to do with latest patches, because I now had A.I Mongol Empire that almost conquered whole world and wouldn't fall apart even after 4 successions. If it weren't for me defeating them multiple times they probably would've taken over the world.
@@meimphisto I believe there was a patch a few months ago that stabilized late game empires, or was supposed to deal with insane border gore, and so made most kingdom and empires more stable. So now you will see more stable late game kingdoms and empires instead of insane border gore, with exploded empires, which is a good change
impressive, now lets see Paul Allen's Byzantine Empire
Soon............
It took me HRE eating up half of france to realize this is not supposed to represent history
If only the Komnenos restoration managed to retake all of Anatolia as I was able to...
@@ByzantineBob96 the Komnenos didn't have the power of hindside and the advantage of being an all knowing god
The good timeline, also love that mod
Thank you man, I appreciate that!
I thought it was a nice little timelapse. Pretty realistic too, some 170 years to regain Anatolia
Thank you, glad you liked it! My general aim was to keep it realistic, and follow the pattern of the Komnenos restoration as if it continued.
If only this happened in real life...
If only 😭
Good
Thank you kindly!
what is the map mod? it looks amazing
the ones I use are clean immersive map, and better map graphics!
@@ByzantineBob96 do you have any idea if these are ironman compatible?
@@Freefs1 All mods are ironman compatible in CK3 now!
Load Order please, some mods you are using seem like they could be awesome to have.
I dont think the load order matters, but the mods are clean immersive map, and better map graphics!
