16 years later just saw rusko live in Nashville smashed it GET DARKER
Been coming back to this mix for nearly 14 years.. still sounds great and brings back so many good memories
I remember discovering this in 09 and having never heard anything like it as an American. Literally mind blowing that music like this even existed. Fell in love instantly and went down a huge rabbit hole trying to find as many tracks and producers I could that had this style. But Rusko did it best in this mix.... untouchable
just wagged school, scored a fifth of good weed, load up halo 3 multiplayer, chuck this mix on the speakers - life was good

This was the mix that finally got me into dubstep! I'm 50...been following dance music since the late 70s. My 1st Rave was 1989. Dubstep was first genre I didn't get.... understand. The early dubstep was ...meh ...I was into Dub ...to me it was ...eh ..what's the point. This year 2008 ... is when dubstep proved itself to alot of dance music veterans.

It's still very much alive. Just not as crikey. But you should appreciate it being incorporated in music everywhere. The end is nowhere in sight.
