Your guitar work is spot on. I'd love to see a tutorial on this one just breaking down the chords. I've seen others on CZcams but I don't think they're close to the original.
Thank u! I use my index finger to do both of, but the thumb do downstrumming as well, i imitate the ES technique, i studied the technique closely observing every sound and fingers movement.
Wonderful, your technique is exquisite, often rewatch your cover of "Condor Ave". If you haven't seen it already, please check out the recently uploaded "Elliott Smith - Live at The Echo in LA [10-1-02] (HQ Audio)" where you see how Elliott plays "Better be Quiet Now" (20:27)
Thanks man! Curious observation, i have to say i like how my version sounds most that in that ES 2002 live version, i think Elliott was in very hard times since 2002 and play for a bunch of people in fact was a hard thing to do.
@@boylilikoi8037 It really does, it's awesome! Yes, hard to watch, however, this is late 2002 when he seemed to find his feet again and when you watch the whole show he seemed in good spirits, with lots of interaction with the audience and silly jokes. And I'm sure you'll have a closer look at how he plays e.g. the tricky "Memory Lane".
Wow. I'm an Elliott Smith snob and you do the most faithful covers I've ever seen. A+. Great renditions. Really touching
This is one of my favorites. It’s REALLY nice to see someone play it so well. Thanks for sharing your talent.
