1300 was just for benchtest purpose... I use my 36v 146wh lawnmower batterypack with dc/DC down to 12v ... 4kmh Kayak require approx 100w so let's say 25wh for each km ? ... ATTENTION you won't fight any big current with this tiny motor and its efficiency lead to 3kmh to 4kmh

300watt get you approx 4kmh to 5 kmh with a paddle board and 5 to 6kmh with my more efficient kayak@@whoisamp620
