Good ole Radar Rat Race! 😀 That particular model Vic-20 you have there is actually an early version with two prong power plug which is exactly what I used to own in 1982 along with that model tape drive. Later versions they changed the motherboard design and used 5 pin DIN instead. Thanks for taking me down memory lane. 😁

did you go that far on a 1300 mah battery? what were your power requirements id like a 15km minimum so 10k because there is current where i am
1300 was just for benchtest purpose... I use my 36v 146wh lawnmower batterypack with dc/DC down to 12v ... 4kmh Kayak require approx 100w so let's say 25wh for each km ? ... ATTENTION you won't fight any big current with this tiny motor and its efficiency lead to 3kmh to 4kmh

300watt get you approx 4kmh to 5 kmh with a paddle board and 5 to 6kmh with my more efficient kayak@@whoisamp620

@@ggtr0nic j'ai jamais fais de quoi d'aussi gros en tpu, mais j'ai la même imprimante que toi et j'utilise la configuration de basse de filament FLEX que j'ai ralentie un peux au niveau des parois extérieure

That’s cool. When I searched for a 2” hitch with 300 lb. tongue weight capacity for my 2019 Bolt, my best option was an EcoHitch for over $600 plus PST/GST.
I just ordered on to put on a paddle boat., how did you build the speed control? do you have a Schimatic? I fly remote control airplanes so i have battery's and i ordered the esc for the thruster also.
my latest version used a RC car remote ... foward/reverse would remove speed span precision so i made it foward only

what esc setup are you using?
affordable & reliable Foward/reverse ESC are hard to find : the one offered from BlueRobotic remain the best fow/rev option ? i chose to go with a simple HobbyKing Plush 25Amp ... but you need to avoid weed cloging, not having revers to unclug

Très touchant cet hommage à votre paternel ( j'ai perdu le mien en 2016 à l'âge de 93 ans ) , je vous ai écris dans le passé monsieur Yves avec mes questions à propos de votre Prolite laquelle la porte d'accès avais été déplacée suite à votre demande , depuis bien d'eau à coulée sous les ponts , en 2007 j'ai acheté une T@B avec laquelle je n'ai que de bon mots ( et entretiens ) , puis en 2017 , en couple nous avons acheté une Alto , ça sera notre dernière roulotte car conçue pour durer . Pour répondre à votre questionnement à savoir si la 1743 est trop lourde pour être tractée par une Dodge Caravan dont la capacité de traction est de 3500 livres , je ne pense pas qu'elle soit trop lourde , selon l'équipement choisi une 1743 oscille autour de 1800 livres à vide , notez que S/C pèse chaque item ( batterie , déplace caravane , support à vélos etc ) donc au moment de la signature du contrat , l'acheteur est en mesure de connaître le poids à vide de base de l'unité choisie . Pour en avoir le coeur net , nous avons passé sur une balance du MTQ , voilà quelques années , avec toutes les choses incluses dedans , elle affichait 2186 livres , j'ai arrondi à 2200 livres , donc oui il est possible de tracter une 1743 avec une Dodge Caravan . J'espère vous avoir éclairé à propos de ce questionnement . Bonne retraite en 2022 !

I was thinking of 2 t200 thrusters mounted on the front. right, left side. For steering . Turn one off go right turn off left go left. I want to do lake trolling at say 2mph. Maybe use the 20volt output on the dewalt 60volt battery for all day use may need a couple batterys I like your flip up design.
the efficiency curve doesnt favor 20v supply ? these thruster are made for slow cruise...i suggest to use bixpy if speed is needed ?
@@ggtr0nic I have been watching for Bixby sale. Yet to see a sale! $1100 . in my state I have to register it like a gas boat and pay extra fees. For any electrical add on motors. And put on I'd decals.

Did you mount the T200 backwards on purpose ? If you turned it around, It could increase the thrust: - Thrust-voltage 4s16.8v : Forward max. 5kg; Reverse max. 4kg; min. 0.01kg

I am looking to buy my first ev. I'm thinking 2016 Nissan leaf or 2016 Kia Soul. The more I look..the more unsure I become. Any thoughts, opinions would be greatly appreciated. I'm in Canada.. so winter driving is a consideration. I have to make a decision soon.
