This is so very true! My father passed suddenly from a massive heart attack when I was only 20, and I still remember that prior week, like it was yesterday (now almost 20 years later). All the loving things he said to me, the things we did (our final motorcycle ride, playing the piano together, visiting him at the business he owned, etc). It was as if he knew, or the Big Man Upstairs knew that something was about to happen, and wanted that week to be full of memories. The things he said to me that last week, I'll never forget. 💞
That is my brother, he's a wonderful man , he's my hero, his search was long but in the end it was very rewarding , we are so blessed that he was able to find her and know that we have her we will never let go
patricia mcaskill what a great man, I am so sorry for all those single dads that have could not keep their babies from being adopted or aborted that many times do not even know that there is a child of their in this world.
this makes me cry cause i was a one night stand baby and my moms friend happend to see my dad at a bar after my mom had found out she was pregnant and she told him and gave him my moms number and he called and called and slept outside her house and got a better job and begged and said please just let me be a good dad and hes been the best dad in the world sence
What breaks my heart about all of these is when you have dads who do know their children and abandon them anyways. Then you have fathers like this who don't have their babies but heartache.
This brought me to tears. Dad kept his word, his love for his daughter is precious. I so admire his determination. Now I want to know if she connected with the birth mother also??
@Mary Oden You have no idea if the mother wanted her or not. What an absurd thing to say. They were children, he was 15. A decision about what was best for the INFANT was made. It was the right call.
@@marikiemarie7622 He was 15. Not educated. Terrible job prospects, a child himself. No, he absolutely could not have raised her. At best his family would be raising him and the baby. There is a reason why we don't let children this young make binding decisions, they are not mature enough.
What a heartwarming story. With the dreadful things that go on in this world to be able to hear that this man found his daughter after 30+ years made me shed a tear. Bless you both.
She was a beautiful baby. In my book you are way at the top of "The Greatest Dads" list. If there is such a thing. I am so happy for you and your daughter!! Be Blessed.
This was a beautiful and wonderful story. It was so nice to see how the father always loved and thought about his daughter. He really fought to get her back and thank God he did!
How horrible and sad that he had to give up his OWN child for adoption and couldn't even keep her ! Smh. VERY sad and wrong. And to make matters worse, his name was removed from her birth records and some adoption agencies. But thankfully he found a way to reunite with her.
There is an instant connection when immediate family members meet for the first time. I was adopted as an 8 days old baby. Searched from age of 5 years for my birth mom. She unfortunately had passed away 60 years later when I found my two half sisters.... What a huge blessing they are... Love them to pieces, and they love me...
This has to be one of the best stories I’ve ever got the chance to watch!! This is the only story I’ve come across where the father was looking for his child after all these years (since it’s usually the children searching). But then to add all the gifts he collected for her as well! So sweet and I’m so glad they were finally reunited after all of these years. It’s good to know she was raised by a great family that loved her dearly and now she has a new edition to her life. 💕
They literally are. In this day and age (keep in mind that the girl in the video was adopted 36 years ago) fathers have to legally consent to an adoption. In this case, it was a different time, there was a lot more stigma around teenage pregnancy, and both parents being underage complicated things from a legal and social perspective.
YOU GIVE ME HOPE AS I SEARCH FOR MY DAD .SOMETIMES I WANT TO GIVE UP BECAUSE IM AFFRAID HE MAY NOT WANT ME BECAUSE HE HASNT LOOKED FOR ME..YOU SOUND LIKE A GRATE DAD
Shirley lopez You don’t know he hasn’t looked for you. Maybe he just hasn’t found you yet. Maybe get your DNA done and get on some of those websites and you can find family to track backwards till you find him. Some of those site have sales for only $70. Bucks to get tested. My daughter and her half sister just did this. They just got their results and now I’m finding my family through her DNA. You would find some of the answers you want snd maybe family that’s been looking for you. Maybe more people then your dad looking. God bless and good luck! Use more then one DNA site and you can find more results.
Shirley Lopez, please don't think that he doesn't want you or hasn't looked for you. My oldest son has a daughter that is 11 and he had to give her up, he was 16 when she was born. Not a bday or any other day goes by that WE all do not think of her and I know oneday she will be with us. I'm grandma and I'm looking forward to this day. Much love darlin!
@shirleylopez you never know till you find him. I am a foundling, it wasn't entirely happy, but it gave me much needed perspective on the life and people I have. Many blessings.
I love this story. I am impressed with the faith of the father that he would at some point be reunited with his daughter. I thank God that his daughter was blessed by a good adoptive family. ( :
Lovely. I wish our society’s legal/state would take into consider that men need to have more say in what happens to their babies. An open adoption might have worked well for this young man.
A most beautiful one. Wish all Dad's loved their kids like that. Know so many kids would give anything for their Dad. s to step up to bat and be their in heart for them. How can someone have a child out their and not care about that child.
Wanda Taylor maybe it seems like some dad's don't care but perhaps they do. Maybe they are consumed by alcoholism or drug addiction or have some reason that they can't be the dad that they should be
I don't know how but i know its possible. Once i was born my farther left with another women. Ten years later had two girls with her and has always considered them better than me. Would pit us against each other, threaten me with taking them away from me if i didn't let him control me. He recently ⚰ and it was a relief, although not before ruining my relationship with my sisters😯 I pray for them every day though and I'm thankful for the lessons I've learned ❤🕆
I want to thank everyone one of you for the beautiful words ❤️. It's bin 8 years now and still going strong. There's not a day go's by that we don't call each other to say I ❤️ You.
As an adopted child I can say that even though you can be loved by the people who raised you you always wonder where you came from and I can tell that your daughter came from a very deep well of love. I did get to meet my birth parents however they were very ill at the time and I didn't get any time with them they were gone within a few years and I live too far away to visit but once. Phone calls and letters helped a bit the internet hadn't hit yet. But I did find out they had loved us very deeply and hadn't meant for us to be adopted the accident that put them in the hospital kept them from being able to get us back as quickly as a state wanted and in the 60s in the state we were in if blonde blue-eyed children came up for adoption wow you got them out there as quick as possible we were bought and sold so quick it was honestly very sad. But they're well of love that our parents had for us never dried up.
This brought me to so much tears. I wish my child’s dad would love our daughter the same way, but unfortunately he cut complete contacts with us. Life’s not always what we wanted.
I know the feeling of meeting a biological parent you were separated at birth from. I had that moment when I was 17. It's surreal. This story is beautiful. I hope to find my biological father one day.
I know and the adopted family could care less about another humans rights because they usually have tons of money.makes you realize what the world has become.
I watched and wondered why I kept tearing up over 2 people I don't know and never will. Then it dawned on me watching that it was because they share looks of total love and lives complete now.
I hope that he accepts her parents and that they accept him. It is wonderful that they have found one another, but that does not lesson the family she grew up in.
What a happy ending and new beginning! I found my birth father when I was 36, and had the door slammed shut. End of my story. So happy others have happy stories!
Sorry to hear. That must have been devastating. His loss and you are worth it. Unfortunate that some people are souless and don't know how much they can gain from the reunion.
"And you're my girl. " I think every woman , no matter the circumstances, somewhere inside wants to hear their Dad say that.
jade fire never heard it before and I would love to hear those words, regardless of how sickly it would make me.

What a lovely man your brother is, and he got the daughter he deserved
Admirable brother you have has she met her birth mother yet?
patricia mcaskill I just found my brother in 2014
patricia mcaskill Is he married? He's so handsome!

I am so happy for you saidy bee...💗

WELL said! Thank you.

Moms and dads both. There are loving parents and selfish parents (or worse).
omg the birthday cards and gifts thing. that absolutely rocked me. wow.
You can see the pain in his eyes. I'm happy he found her.
Oh this one was a tear jerker , a dad that actually wanted & loved his daughter🙌🏽
This brought me to tears.
Dad kept his word, his love for his daughter is precious. I so admire his determination.
Now I want to know if she connected with the birth mother also??
Times are different now, fathers deserve a choice to raise their child also
I always said that. Not matter how desperate you are
Liz Jones Then how will people make money from these adoptions?
@Mary Oden You have no idea if the mother wanted her or not. What an absurd thing to say. They were children, he was 15. A decision about what was best for the INFANT was made. It was the right call.

What wonderful dad! Amazing story!
What a heartwarming story. With the dreadful things that go on in this world to be able to hear that this man found his daughter after 30+ years made me shed a tear. Bless you both.
The pull of biology is so real! What a blessed reunion!

This was a beautiful and wonderful story. It was so nice to see how the father always loved and thought about his daughter. He really fought to get her back and thank God he did!
Wish my dad loved me half as much as this man love his daughter. I haven’t cried this much in a long time. ❤️
This was so emotional for me to watch. I loved this story. What a wonderful father!
It is so painful being adopted, especially when you’re rejected for a second time.
What a wonderful loving man.
What a wonderful Dad. Lots of times no one thinks of the Father.
What a great absentee dad. Very few out there like him
A love story of the ages...thank you for sharing...
You’re a great father. God bless you!
So happy for both of them.
Beautiful story! You can’t have too many people to love.❤️
He really loves his daughter. What a beautiful reunion.
Tears down my face she is so lucky to have a loving father they are rare.

Dad and daughter look almost the same age! He was super young when she was born.
Why aren't fathers given parental rights?

I feel this story I have a son who i give up at 1 yr old and now he's 15 and today I have him on Facebook I so miss him and love him every day
Why the father's name was omitted from a birth certificate?.
It's common practice or was due to all countries religious and state marriage laws and adoption rules
Irish citizen
Also, likely to prevent him fighting the adoption.
Really hard to believe there could be men this wonderful
Am crying watching this great video. God bless you both😍
This is so beautiful!!!
I love father and daughter reuniting stories. LOVE them.
I'm crying this is the most wholesome thing and that man is so pure ♡

What amazing human being father. Hope love and prayer.
That is absolutely AWESOME! God Bless u both
That's what happens a lot the fathers rights are disregarded even though he was a young man he was the father of this child glad he found her
I know and the adopted family could care less about another humans rights because they usually have tons of money.makes you realize what the world has become.
Beautiful story. Bless them both

So amazing. God bless humanity.
Needed this. Thank you CZcams
this is so touching especially if it's the father. i rarely hear a man looking for their child who was given up for adoption. SWEET!❤
All the best. Happy for you guys
So awesome. Glad they were reunited.
What an awesome guy. The word beautiful springs to mind
All the best to this wonderful father and doughter!!!

Perhaps he did not want to face his past. It's a shame but understandable in a human weakness. You must learn to move on.
Cheryl Lee bless you sweet child⭐️💕
I love this dad!
Amazing , simply amazing .
What a remarkable man. ❤
How I would love to be loved like that by my father.
god bless to both.
Love that you found each other ❤️
Why people do these things when they know that they cannot raise a child ? This is unfair to the child and to themselves.
💗 love your story
Beautiful
He is an amazing dad.
