    I was being demeaned, overworked and harassed at one point of my working life. One night duty, I locked myself in my duty room and burst out crying. It was the first time in my career and at my hospital that I had let myself cry. It’s exactly as you put it Dr. Abreez. I wanted to be valued more, and go somewhere where my skillset would be appreciated. But most importantly, I just wanted to be happy again. And the day I booked my IELTS test was the day I began to have hope. It was a gradual process but I realised that you’re allowed to be happy as a pre-PG student. You’re allowed to take a breath.
    I lost a lot of money deciding to choose PLAB over my country’s PG exam, but I can confidently say, I’ve never been happier. I doubt myself often lately (which is why I came running to this video ♥️) but I want to remind myself that I’m happy. I’m making huge strides in my life that I never thought I’d have the courage to ever make. I’m proud of myself and I’m proud of all of you guys too. Look behind your shoulder for a brief moment, and look how far you’ve come.
    Thank you Dr. Abreez, I always feel calm and reassured when you speak. I hope you have a wonderful day!

    Thankyou so much Dr. Abreez. Your channel is such a God-send! I'm a recent med school graduate who is a little on the older side (early 30s), relatively speaking and I am now about to begin navigating internship in my country. I was low-key freaking out about the amount of time it will take to get through IELTS and PLAB while navigating my internship and wondering if the door had closed. You just gave me perspective. Thank you!

    Hi! I watch you from Spain 😊 My English level is low intermediate and not enough for HCPC registration (dietitian). I really want to work in UK and I’ve been thinking that I can send my documents to ERIC for the Statement of Comparability (Secondary Education and Dietitian degree) only to have the opportunity to apply for a job in NHS as HCA, dietitian assistant or similar. How do you see it? 🙏🏼 Thank you

    Hello doctor , i am a final year med stud studying for AMC and i came across this competent authority thing that if i take the plabs finish foundation years in UK then i am eligible to move to australia ? What would be a wiser decision, trying AMC which has a low passing rate or the plabs.
    Thanks.

    Hi ibreez, during our training years in uk, if ever we buy a house during first years of training does it become an issue as we keep changing hospitals and locations? With family and kids

    • @RoadToUK
      @RoadToUK  Před rokem

      You can aim to only choose training spots in the area you've bought your house, and depending on your training + area, you may only rotate every year, every two years, or not at all.

    Thank u sir for your informative videos. I’ve completed MRCOG Part2. U know, It requires 03 years training to sit for MRCOG Part 3 exam. I’ve already completed 1.5 years Post Graduation (FCPS) in OG from my country (Bangladesh). Now, I want to settle in UK as doctor of OG. What should I do in my current position. Should I go for MTI pathway or not? If I get chance for MTI system then is it possible to count rest of my 1.5 years training to apply for MRCOG part 3 exam from 02 years training under MTI pathway. My another question is that, during MTI process can I bring my child & husband in UK under dependent visa or other condition.

    • @RoadToUK
      @RoadToUK  Před rokem

      MTI gives you a Tier 5 visa, which would allow you to bring your family. You can look into competency requirements once you start and can also complete the rest of the MRCOG while in the UK under MTI.
