I can't even tell you how happy I am with this piece at my home.....Laura you and the team did an amazing job with this wall hanging it is more beautiful than I could have dreamed. THANK YOU
It's Beautiful Laura, Greg and Team DFS! I especially love how you included the one large branch which emphasizes the organic, alive look to the installation.
In case your viewers are wondering about the facemasks?..Sphagnum moss carries some kind of fungus that when inhaled will eventually send you to the Dr. or ER room. Its a bane of people who work with large amounts of the stuff dry. Also,be careful with Perlite...it can cause cancer when inhaled asbestos like problems I believe in some cases.
WOW! The courtyard entrance is now complete. "Hanging Organic Art" at it's finest, also those black pots and your plant selection really improve that home & enhance it's concrete greys & dark rock color scheme. Luv it.
It's a masterpiece, just perfect! I'm gonna have to slow it down to see if I can see how you got the top moss to stay in place. Happy Birthday, Hannah, what a cutie!!
@@LauraEubanksI did slow it down...I'm guessing you just jammed that last layer of moss through the chicken wire. Again, it's just amazingly beautiful work, from God's eyes through your hands. Kow tow, my friend, kow tow
😍😍 I so badly want to hang a vertical piece on my garage this summer. I live in zone 5 so I would have to take it down before fall but it would be worth it 😍 your piece made me want to do it even more now
It looks great. I've never done that and I should...the wife would like that. She supports my plants when they are beautiful...it's the weird plants that seem like a waste of money-lol.
This is so beautiful I'm guessing this maybe will cost around 5k or 6k , I live in S.F those are expensive is why I love Laura thanks to teach us next project wall succulent 💖💖💖🌵☘🌿🌺🏵🌸🌵😍😍
Yours is magnificent! Working on my own smaller version, waiting for it to root in the dirt. I didn't think of glueing it into moss, but I stuck cuttings through mesh into dirt.
Ta H How is your version doing with dirt? I would suspect it is pretty heavy? How large is your version? I am planning to do a large one, the moss idea is interesting. I am located in Newport CA
@@anthonyreiter mine is about 2x3 ft on a special frame I built. I'm in Tucson and when I first finished it last winter I hung it in the sun and didn't realize it was too much for it in the summer so I took it down and put it in the shade. It is heavy and the dirt washes out a bit with waterings when it's vertical. I don't suppose I can post a picture here of it. it's lying flat on a table right now because I filled in some bare patches and I'm giving those time to grow. I also have started gluing them into the mesh. I would definitely try the moss idea!!
Hi Laura - thank you for your channel - down to earth and no fuss (I love it). I live in South Africa and would like to know whether succulents would survive in full shade? I have an area at my front door that I would love to plant up with succulents but am not sure whether they would survive getting no sun. I am close to the ocean so humidity is high. Thank you
First of all this is absolutely beautiful, 👌🏽 secondly I love the idea of not using heavy soil, but instead using moss! One Question, did you say that you added a little bit of glue on some of the smaller ones? If so what kind of glue?
We live in Northridge, CA, it’s gets hot in the summer, low humidity and might be in a mostly sun position...will something like this work here? If yes, how often would we water? Love your work so much, my husband and I love the videos and keep trying to get emulate your work. I experience “rock envy” every video - the most expensive part of these gardens!
Love this! Would like to know what kind of an anchor was used, was there something on the frame that married into the anchor on the wall. Also, what kind of glue is used, would any glue be used?
I Nos I believe they used a long metal French Cleat to secure the succulent frame to the wall. They drilled holes in the stucco to secure the one part of the cleat to the wall, as required. The long cleat distributes the weight. Always best to locate studs when attaching to a wall.
Could something like that work in zone 9b? I'm in Central Florida and am bing watching all of Laura's YT videos. I have plenty of places with full or partial shade.
I can't even tell you how happy I am with this piece at my home.....Laura you and the team did an amazing job with this wall hanging it is more beautiful than I could have dreamed. THANK YOU
Purely curious how much did it cost you??
Ben Carroll a lot. Over 4K
How are the plants doing?

I would love to see Greg do a video on the construction of one of those verticals and the hanging installation and how he anchors it to the wall.
OMG for sure, the entire area as good as a botanical garden displays..LOVE it !!!!

Patricia Johnson the plants will send out new roots that will attach to the moss. They will live long and happy lives❤️

I am so in love, it looks amazing! I wish you could come to Australia and do my yard. I’m willing to sell a kidney 😄 Excellent work.
This is beautiful and fits her spot perfectly. About how long can you expect the plants to last without their roots and soil?
Thank you for asking this question. I am disappointed that Laura has not responded. I was wondering the same thing.
FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!

Manuela Gilo that would be mine😊
So beautiful Laura, I love your videos. Just wondering what a ballpark $$$ to make such a work of art?
pldavala material and plant costs vary dramatically. The real value is in the TIME it takes to pull something like this off! It’s a labor of ❤️

Omgggg beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤💘💘💘💘.

Awesome and amazing like always. I would like it to be even bigger for my home tho. :p. How much did it cost to build something so large?

So do you like water it once a day or twice?
Love this! Would like to know what kind of an anchor was used, was there something on the frame that married into the anchor on the wall. Also, what kind of glue is used, would any glue be used?
Slide anchors that married to the joints on the wall and yes! Any glue will work. I like aleene’s clear tacky gel.

Do you even do classes on making succulent walls?
Master pc😍
Can I use any type of moss? Would Spanish moss work or maybe any sphagnum moss at that can be purchased at my local Lowe’s or Home Depot?
Thought that was broken up bud i was like girl let me know jaja
Just curious what type of glue you use for a project like this
Do the cuttings root? What do you use as glue? Do you ever fertilize?
Aloha! How long do you keep the frame lying down before you hang it?
My husband wants to see the video that was showing a bit of Greg making the frame. I can't find it. Could I have the link?
