Will this stand up to windy weather??
Hi Judy. For this setup, the pole is placed over a metal rod that goes into the ground, but it does not click into place or anything - so if it's windy, you'd have to do something to secure it in place. You could take a couple of 260's and wrap it through the hole on top and through the pole then wrap it to the metal rod in the ground. We've also seen customers drill additional holes in the base of the pole and secured it with guy lines and stakes. Hope this helps!
This is such a great idea! How can you price this?
There are quite a few things to consider - Are you leaving the materials or picking them back up to reuse? Did you have to paint the poles or buy special tools to create them yourself? The materials are relatively inexpensive, but counting all the extra work and prep that goes into making them should be added to your overall price. The final price would depend on all of that.
Is the white pole pvc, what diameter is it
It was 1/2" diameter.
