This is what I did for Michael Jackson's birthday, 8/29. Recreated his awesome 4-part harmony in a live loop. "Off the Wall" by Rod Temperton. Produced by the one and only @quincyjones.
I learned SO much from deconstructing these harmonies. Needless to say, I was blown away -- not only by how perfect they are, but by Michael Jackson's insanely amazing voice. Grace, elegance, power, control. Energetic vibratos contrasted with steady tones. Smooth as silk.
When the bass voice switches from roots to 7ths ("enjoy yourself"), it gives me chills every time. Delicious. I know that Quincy Jones produced this, and I wonder if he also arranged these rich harmonies.

@@yoelrappaport5991 A chest voice/falsetto mix. Those upper notes are maybe 60/40. The high Eb's with the multi-Aarons is 100% falsetto. Not sure if that makes sense lol.
