People from all over the world of all ethnicities are doing so much for Bharat and it's civilization when people from Bharat work against its own interests. Also India needs to push Sanskrit as well. We shouldn't let our ancient language to die.

    Wow! I loved this video.
I am a Tamil Iyer born & bought in North India and living in Bangalore currently.
I CANNOT READ OR WRITE TAMIL. I can speak & understand fluently.
I can understand & speak Kannada, can’t read or write.
I can read, write & speak HINDI quite fluently.
But ENGLISH is the language where I shine - I write articles in QUORA & LINKEDIN & they go viral.
Working on my Sanskrit right now.
Will learn to read & write Tamil too in near future.
Worst part is I have a relative who was born & bought up in COIMBATORE (PROPER TAMILNADU), but he can’t read or write Tamil.
Same with my 19 year old niece who was done all her schooling in CHENNAI. This is the situation of most of the TAMBRAMS.

Sir, Tamil is not so difficult to learn to read and write. Even I was in the same situation, I only knew how to speak in Tamil. I never focused on learning it because it was not required to get a job. So my family members only encouraged me to learn English. I learnt Tamil on my own only a few years after I started working. We are smart people, if we can do well in one languague then learning a new one shouldn't take much time.

Excellent observation, the British subjugated Sanscrit and Sanatan Dharma like the Spanish have done in Latin America subjugated Kechua, Guarani, and indigenous cultures, etc., and impose Spanish and Christianity in most of the continent. Holland and Portugal, as well as other conquest-minded nations and cultures including Arab and Islam, have done the same elsewhere in the world.

Medium of professional education is English so for higher education English is a requirement. its an albatross round the neck. After independence efforts should have been made to change but instead it became a status symbol to go to English medium schools.

I want to share with the subscribers of this channel that Hindi is a languague that was invented by John Gilchrist, a Scottish person. It is a combination of Khari Boli, Sanskrit and Urdu. So Hindi is ideally a foreign languague. The biggest trick that British then did is to convince the people of Bharat that Hindi is Indian languague.

Sir, English is the default operating system of India. It is as foreign to us as Cricket. It is not part of the colonial baggage. I refuse to speak Hindi or give any primacy to it. I will use my native tongue but refuse to elevate Hindi. So how will I communicate with a Tamilian or a Marathi?
The leftist government of West Bengal tried this experiment and made students learn English from class V. The results were disastrous. After laying low a generation the returned to old policy of teaching English.
It makes it easy for us to communicate with the rest of the world. It is good for business as well.
What we need is a decolonised approach to the English language. It is a language of convenience, not a language of elitism.

These days now that Sanskrit is becoming cool again, the europeans are claiming that sanskrit is a western language. and that Europe bought sanskrit to india to civilize the Indians. Haha . What a joke.. wait for 20 years and even the vatican/pope would say jesus spoke sanskrit and taught it to indians. 🤣🤣

I can’t agree with this.Asan Indian who has lived abroad for decades in many countries what saves me is my knowledge of English. This is especially true when we set out to learn German, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai etc..Our knowledge of English not as a second language but as a dual first language as is the case with most urban Indians gives us a whopping economic advantage although it is often at the cost of a loss of native culture

He lays stress that " 1) Get out from the Colonial Hang over , 2) English is just a means of communication not everything in life 3) He understands the importance of learning the native language, to be more precise according to physcology anything learnt in the native language has a bigger impact on the brain. 4) He lays stress on the point that if a person is Polyglot ( If you don't know the meaning Google it ) his brain is even more sharper. I don't think you have the habit of reading between the lines...
