I’m 52 years old, and have never actually witnessed a Queen emerging before - I’m deathly allergic to bees, but absolutely adore them. It was actually very moving and sweet to watch the workers excitement and care for her as she slowly made her way forth. Beautiful job with the recording, btw. Absolutely top notch, and for someone like myself that can unfortunately never witness this any other way, it’s very, very special. Thank you!!
Welcome to the world little queen! ❤️🐝❤️
This is so beautiful to see this if you are a bee keeper .....
It is so hard to get out of your cell when they're stepping on your head and trying to feed you. This was an excellent capture, my friend. Top-notch videography for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Massachusetts Prepper I said, “Get out of her way!” But they were only doing their job. I love watching bees. I have a newfound respect for them.
@@valarietolle8583 it was definitely fascinating to watch. I could just see the frustration in the Queen's eyes as she tried to get out of her cell LOL.
James Merryman very interesting. Thank you
Why is she in a cell I dont understand and they look like wasps.why do bees and wasps sting and how do you tell wasp from bee.why is a bumble bee different.x
James Merryman a lot of good information here James for the new beekeepers. I am not exactly a new beekeeper and my original comment was more for humor than seriousness. But I am glad that you posted on this comment as it gives the new beekeepers a lot of insight as to what is going on in the colony and can be helpful to them for sure.

Depends on 'when' - bees are much older than they look...
Lol!
AND STOP WALKING ALL OVER ME!!!!!
(At least we know "head stomps" aren't a thing in the bee world)
Steak!!! Where’s my steak?!?!?!
What I found fascinating was also how she “was” a newborn bee but she knew that she has the responsibility of leading the whole colony of bees.
The queen actually doesn't *lead* the hive in the sense that a human queen leads a country, the hive all makes decisions as a collective (Though I'm sure the queen still gets to participate in voting)
Imagine that you have just been born, or trying to and 20 different people just get up into your face and vomit food into your mouth.
Ayy kik face
That would be bad
😂😂😂😂
I'm new to the bee thing. I kept thinking if they had a voice the queen would be like "just stop stepping on my head!" ;) Great video however!!
Your comment reflects your knowledge and true awareness of the magical and miraculous gift caught on video. I feel sorry for you.
It may seem like the workers are all walking over her face as she is trying to emerge, but actually, they are relating vital information to new queen, she has to learn quickly! Beautiful video!!! Thank you! 😍😊🤗🤗💖💖💗💟
Tk u! This was breathtaking!! For those individuals that gave this video a 'thumbs down', I'm truly sorry ur @ a point in life that simply enjoying the marvels of nature is a disappointment.
Thank you Johnny ❤️
I am terrified of bees and wasps but I watched the video and was fascinated with watching the queen emerging.l asked questions and was given all the answers and reading others who commented and the info was brilliant.l know of pollination and nectar and there was a queen and they sting and that was about it.Yes people of gave this thumbs down ,why? Yes many dont like them but ask questions like I did and better understand nature.l love nature but l think because bees and wasps sting most are scared which comes in childhood.same with house spiders 4 times they've crawled across me the screaming and shouting I did.my husband just lifts and out window,xx
What a totally wondrous video, to be able to actually see the queen bee emerging with attendant help, from her queen cell. Just so amazing, and that you were able to catch it on video. So happy to be able to see this event. Nature, as given by God, is something for us to be stewards of, to take care of, and occasionally to be able to watch with amazement.
Yeah I can just imagine:
"Our queen!" "Our queeeeen!!"
"She knows de way." "She knows de way." "She knows de way." [...]

this comment wins the internet 😂
It's amazing how other bees help the queen to get free. So much communication there.
The coolest thing bee-wise that I've ever seen was a bumblebee drinking orange soda from my glass. It was just taking tiny adorable sips. I don't know if that's bad for bees, but I really didn't want to disturb her so I just let her be and watched her :)
It’s sugar water it was not drinking it it was harvesting a rich supply of sugar
@@justinwillingale2086 God I'm curious if different substances have an effect on the honey taste I would assume not because it passes through the gut but still
This such a wonderful thing to see. We must keep our honey 🐝 safe.
That was amazing as many years that's i have been a beekeeper this was first time seeing a queen leave her cell thank you
I was lucky enough to see a new queen emerging from her queen cell just this past Saturday. I managed a couple of pictures, but now I wish I had thought to capture a video of it. Thank you for posting this!
Let's hope she is a gracious and kind queen, so her hive will be chill, cause if she's not, it will be like an army going to war anytime someone approaches.
37 dislikes are from 37 worker bees that did not merge from cells 🐝
From murderer wasps.
Yes, they also gave a thumbs down to the sunrise because it happens too early everyday.
Can't agree more
That was extraordinary footage and the music was perfect and lovely. My first two boxes of bees are arriving this Saturday to begin my beekeeping journey. This video was a beautiful reminder of what fascinating creatures these "girls" truly are.
Sue TomFordLaw
You are gonna love being a bee mom. I have been doing it for 3 years and I love it more each day. Be sure to talk to your girls. They like to hear their mom talk to them. It does calm them. I might offer two things for you to know. 1.You will kill some bees while you are caring for them. 2. You will kill a queen during your journey with your girls.
These are the dangers of being a bee keeper. Forgive yourself.
Bless you.
Sue TomFordLaw Pray your girls are doing well. Best of luck to you.
wow! hope it's going to bring you all nearer to your & the bees creator, god ❤
Good luck!
@@snowieherrera7710 why do you say girls l know the queen is female are the workers a mix?does a queen get picked or how do they know shes a queen.lve been given so much info tonight.l could never have a hive as terrified of bees and wasps but more the wasp.x
Bees and ants are genius creatures too much to learn from.
Don't know why this was so emotional for me to watch! God is so good!
It was watching a new birth thats why. Set to the right music. And she is life giving because bees pollinate and without them upon the world most would starve. Because God is the only other source of provision, and she works for Him. Yeah, there is a lot going on in the other realms people today just close their eyes to.
Trella Shew all the time. ❤️
And then those stupid murder hornets have to just ruin it... :(
Can’t you just see them smiling and telling everyone in the hive “she is here, she is here, isn’t she beautiful? Tell everyone, she is here”
Thank you GOD for YOUR Bees and for letting us keep them for YOU.
@@snowieherrera7710 amen! Absolutely!
Everybody wants to help the queen to be born 😃
It is amazing how they work so hard to help her out of her cell! Thank you for sharing. Great photography!
Great watching this. I miss beekeeping a lot. The first two years the mites came to NW Washington all 4 of my colonies were done for my Spring. After that I gave up. Before that I had strong strong hives that have me loads of honey. It was much fun and very interesting. Your videos are very well done. Happy Beekeeping.
Sad to hear about the loss of your bee colonies. They are so important in the balance of life! 😍👍💖
I love all the close ups you do of your bees and explaining, drone etc, it's nice to really see them.
WOW! For all the years I thought 🐝🐝🐝 were only good for 🍯 and running away from!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience! Life is worth celebrating!
Nature at its finest. Absolutely amazing. Glad you caught that on camera Kaylee.
That was super cool! 😃👍 thanks for filming this. Love how all the bees fuss over her 😊
What a great occurrence! Thanks for taking the time to share.
The closes I ever came to seeing a queen emerge was when I took a supercedure cell from one hive and put it in a queenless hive. She had already started cutting the top out of the cell.
It's almost like they were delaying her emerging until a specific moment , so beautiful :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, you BEAUTIFUL young lady. May you have a long healthy life. LONG LIVE THE QUEEN. lol I do believe I was smiling thru the whole video.......after I moved over to the big tv of course :)
Wow! This is so cool! I’m taking a beekeeping class this semester so watching this was awesome! Thanks for sharing!!
WOW WHAT A SPECTACULAR CAPTURE OF THE BEAUTY OF LIFE TY SO MUCH
I love how, once the queen has emerged, the drones push the nurse bees away to get close to her.
HER ladies in waiting dressing her for HER coronation!💕💕💕
Like when a new girl comes to the local high school
Uh, probably not like that.
😂
I like wit.
Just regurgitating food into her mouth
Are people just nuts or mean? How could anyone "dislike" this video? It was well shot and showed a miracle of nature unfold. Some people.....
Yeah I have a few male beekeepers who really don’t like me! I’m cool with it!!!
@@TheHoneystead Why on earth would they not like you? What do they think women have no business doing this either? Oh the soap bubble that is the male ego at times.....
@@aravista222 the irony of a female calling male egos, lol
Exactly the comment I was looking for. People are stupid, though, so what else would you expect
Oh my! This actually brought a tear to my eye!😄💗🐝👑 So lovely you caught it & was able to share. Thank you 😊 🙏🌞🌻
Wow! Amazing! God's creation is absolutely incredible.
Amen!
WOW! Thank you for posting this. Nature and altruism at their finest. Amazing seeing all the big sisters helping the new queen.
Beautiful, just beautiful. I love your sensitivity and dedication. All of humanity should take your example to their hearts and let your example explode all over the world.
This was beautiful and extraordinary! Such amazing footage! Thank you for sharing and brightening our lives!
That was very emotional. Thank you so much for capturing that!
Moving footage.
Thanks for uploading.
So cool. Thanks for sharing this. I’ve yet to see one emerge.
Certainly a lovely way of filming the emergence, reminds me of the film 'More Than Honey' (2012) directed by Markus Imhoof.
Thank you for sharing that tender moment with your audience!
Oh!
very good
This is the first video I have ever seen of a queen bee being born.
Thank you very much
When you are the Queen, but your armies are too stupid stepping on you. 😂
Yup I would be like would you guys piss off 😂stop steeping on me back the heck up 😂

Really cool! I love bees and they look so cute! They look excited to see the queen emege!
I don't know anything about honey bees but that was the coolest thing I've seen in a while! Thanks for sharing this, awesome videography too!
I just ran across your video. Thank you so very much. These are the things we need to show to the new bee keepers to get them excited about bee keeping. GOD Bless you and your bees.
Beautiful videoThank you for taking the time to make it God bless you

Kind of hard getting out when everyone is walking on your face.
This is absolutely stunning. Thank you so much. Blessed queen.🌿💕🌿
Long live the queen!
Beautiful job filming that and nice catch! She's a beautiful queen!
She has so many fans! Took her awhile to get out of that lol
It's incredible and mazing that they instantly imprint themselves to her scent.
Bees are more advanced than humans, look at how they WORK TOGETHER. 🐝
You truly captured a special moment ... there is so much wonder in the world we just need to slow down and take note of it.
What beauty our lives have to offer in these times we have to endure !!
I will echo previous comments just to say “stellar videography”. That is awesome and humbling to see creatures just do their jobs without question.

And the queen is saying, "Damnit...quit blocking the entrance and let me out!!!"
Your work is calming, like cool tea in the summer time.
I have bees in my garden and I have never seen this before. Amazing video. Great job. 👍👍👍👍👍
Lone Wolf Hey Lone Wolf, consider getting a couple of hives. If you enjoy bees they will bring you joy and a little sweetness in your life.
I started with 2 and I have 6 now. I enjoy just sitting in a chair just watching them.
Great video!!!
I wanna learn bees for next year👏👏👏
Simply amazing! The best nature' show during lockdown time, thk!
Amazing vid. Thank you!
Your photography is excellent. I was watching the Queen when she was coming out and it appeared her eyes were not open or she had a covering over her eyes.
