Another wonderful video! I can definitely relate to the hard goodbyes and deep connections. So far I've only done max. 2 week solo trips but even then you get to make such great connections and I feel that when you're traveling solo you just put yourself out there more easily and also you're able to meet people who are likeminded. I can only imagine how deep connections you're able to create when you stay in one place for a few weeks.
I have travelled solo all my life, worked in 8 countries. Hitched rides in my early years, bummed aound in the Far East and S. America, met many interesting people whom I never saw again (except for one I ran into in Saudi Arabia when I was in my 50s.) Now, I'm retired, solo, live in an apartment with bourgeouis neighbours who can't relate to me at all. I haven't gone anywhere in four years and may never travel again. And, it's terribly boring.... Just to let you know what to expect if you can't keep up connections.
