- Join me for a specially created standing pilates workout to build strength and confidence in your body, help prevent falls and strenghten your entire body. This workout contains functional work to improve posture, balance, coordination, stability and strength and is good for everybody of any age wanting to refine, improve and add good functional exercise to their fitness regime. Perfect for beginners as well as anyone returning to exercise after a break. This is one I recommend you do 3 times a week in order to build confidence and strength. It will help prevent falls, improve mobility and flexibility too.

Though I work on balance and coordination every day, progress is very slow.....but over time there is noticeable improvement. I'm not afraid of falling. If you saw me in ordinary life activities, you would not know that I have any balance problems at all. You have been a valued motivator!
@beverlynelson ... I feel you... been on the same boat at 61 yo. .Noticed the loss of balance more and more...specially when moving around in a hurry. Actually, I am doing BOTH standing pilates AND yoga for SENIORS only... I find the senior pilates energizes me without straining... and the senior yoga relaxes and stretches me gently but mot effectively like nothing else can. And I only do standing for both... to keep things even simpler...
As always, your classes are wonderful, Rachel. Since I couldn't do the live, I would love a senior standing pilates class once a month at least.

Hi Rachel. When you ask us to do more balletic moves and work our arms, it is very apparent why ballet dancer’s bodies are so muscular 😊 I enjoy more challenging classes, so one senior class a month would be my vote 👏💕

After 3 weeks of balance work I am getting better. It doesnt look as good as yours, but I am happy. Painful knees is over. I hope for a long time. So thanks a lot for your endless exercises. Love this workout. At 67 I've had to tone down my high-impact exercises and I love what Pilates does for my body. Thank you for all your videos. Have done this routine on and off since it was released, but I have come back to it and attempt to do it daily. I have had increased mobility issues and I find this routine meets me where I’m at. It’s slow going but hoping and praying I will see improvement. Thanks again Rachel😊

While I didn't watch the livestream, I did this on a Thursday morning and it was just what I needed. By the end of the week I'm usually tired and not motivated to exercise, but this was just what I needed to keep on track. My arms and knees are feeling the workout and my posture is straighter. Thanks again ❤.
