It’s amazing. Elephants will do anything to protect their babies. With all of those people and the equipment, she should have seen them as a threat and tried to run them off. Instead, she knows they are trying to help her baby, so she stands back and lets them. This shows a level of intelligence at the very least on par with human intelligence. They are self aware. They can predict outcomes. They understand human ingenuity and ability to problem solve. Elephants are so…so insanely intelligent.

Dolphins, elephants and some birds are known to have intelligence roughly on par with human 5 year olds. Elephants in particular have as many neurones in their brains as humans which suggesting cognitive evolution. Outside of that even lower level animals are able to associate things. Domesticated cats for example will approach humans if injured or hungry because they associate humans with help/safety/protection.

Elephants are highly intelligent animal. Once in my village a man shot down a baby elephant in the forest. Then when his wife was pregnant and was working in the field, the mother elephant came and killed her by dividing her body into two symmetrical halves and so the pre matured baby came out of her womb and died on the ground. This is how the mother elephant killed the hunter's baby. Then the villagers were all alarmed and hunt began for the mother elephant. Finally, the sister of that hunter encountered the beast in the jungle and she shot her down too. Killing her instantly. I am very afraid of elephants no matter how cute they look. I would want them to stick in wild and never come out.

The duck made sure the duckling was OK, quacked twice at the guys who rescued it and then walked off with the duckling in tow. Three more ducklings then appeared from under a nearby bush and the five of them went on their way.
