The Beatles in their feature film debut, one of the greatest rock-and-roll comedy adventures ever. The film has a fully restored negative and digitally restored soundtrack. The film takes on the just-left-of-reality style of mock-documentary, following "a day in the life" of John, Paul, George, and Ringo as fame takes them by storm.

Fun fact: George's fall wasn't intentional, that's why John laughed so hard
Thank you! That's the answer I was looking for lol
I noticed too but gosh did it hurt, he scratched his hands !
you forgot to mention that Ringo fell as well
Perfect comedy, you couldn’t have scripted the trip and both George and Ringo falling. Amazing how quick they recovered!

The same thing applies to Radiohead
dimitrisphvnk I definitely agree, I love raido head, queen, etc but the Beatles will always be my favorite.
That’s so rad
John: Laughing his butt off while running and looking back at the crowd
George: stumbling over everything but laughing at the same time
Ringo: genuinely concerned + stumbling over stuff
Paul: “Mornin, sir! How about the newspaper today, huh? Crazy stuff nowadays with those Beatles guys.”
Yeah John looked like he was having a blast meanwhile Ringo was running for his life. Lmao

My father was a projectionist in a theatre in Kapuskasing,he brought me in to watch the movie A Hard Days Night ,I was 10 years old.after watching it over 30 times, I knew every word of every song. The immense joy the Beatles brought to me was carried right through to Abbey Road.
You’re so lucky when I was 10 years old I was out in the middle of nowhere and no film came out probably about 45 minute drive down to LA I came out but not here
That must have been so cool to experience that. I’m from Kirkland Lake, not too far from you. Cheers friend.
You beat me, I only saw it 20 times in the theater. But then I saw it about 10 times more when it came on television.
Can you tell me what this movie was about? The Beatles of course but can you tell me how it poignantly depicted their level of fame? I recently read an article comparing this documentary to the Eras Tour documentary that recently came out about Taylor Swift. The article sang high praises about this documentary but wasn’t fond of the eras tour which I have seen. I wanted to get some perspective but I’ve only found clips like this so maybe hearing from someone who’s seen it would help please?
I fell instantly fell in love with George when he fell in this opening scene . I was 5 years old. And I still love him... 😇

A Hard Day's Night is a 1964 musical comedy film starring the English rock band the Beatles-John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr-during the height of Beatlemania. It was originally released in the United States on August 11, 1964 by United Artists. The film was a financial and critical success and was nominated for two Academy Awards including Best Original Screenplay. Forty years after its release, Time magazine rated it as one of the 100 all-time great films.
At 1:37: Paul sitting on a bench, reading a newspaper, notice how he's already got the Sgt Pepper moustache and beard in 1964, with 1967 still 3 years away, ahead of the times, that's why their music is timeless....
