SoCal Yellowtail Surface Iron Set Up | Get Dialed In

I love fishing Yellowtail with surface iron. It is a real adrenaline rush when you make that long cast, take a couple of cranks, then your line goes tight!
Having the proper equipment is a mush when fishing these brutes. My go to surface iron set up is a PCH Custom Inshore rod matched with a Komodo SS 450 size reel. This makes for long casting, solid hook sets and a lot of fun! Oh, and they always put some meat on the bbq.
