I have said for years, "Leaves don't make me money, they cost me money"!!!!!!! I pretty much don't do leaf jobs. However, last year I started putting an upcharge on an invoice for leaves if I have to spend more time grinding up leaves with the mower. Not one customer said a word about the extra charge. They all understood. Hope this helps.

How much of an upcharge did you add if you don't mind me asking?

I look forward to leaf season by the end of mowing season. It usually leads to an upsale for other fall/winter services that keep me busy usually till right before Christmas. I charge a $70/hr rate, but where i sometimes mess up is how many hours it ends up taking me. The majority of the time i can make it come out like a week of mowing its those few you screw up on like everything else. I was just fishing for some more precise answers but after all this time i dont think there is any

It depends on how long it took but as little as $19 up $69 but I have a new one this year that won't be that cheap. The biggest thing is I just stopped doing it for FREE.@@chillwillracing803

Just made a vid on this same topic. I always underbid cleanups like that by about like 20-30%. My problem when I was new was that I was taking leaf cleanups for people who hadn't raked their lawn all year, so it was just piles of heavy wet leaves stuck to the ground. No more of that this year.

I had 2 of the 8010s and now have 2 9010s its a beast of a blower. Im excited about the 7910 its not more powerful but i loved that thing. Its more pinpoint accuracy instead of blow everything in sight

My boy is a tech at the echo skag dealer by my house and he’s got like blowers on blowers from clients not picking there stuff up. He always says the 80-90/10 blowers are junk, I’m like why bro mines nasty it will cartwheel bushes out the ground it’s so strong. He’s like yea till it pops the motor cause those things turn so hard stock that yea they are stupid strong but they don’t last. I dunno mine had held up pretty good so far. I got a 800c hip start too I really like but tbh, my favorite blower for all around work like basic lawns and driveways is the echo 770. My boy swears that’s the most bullet proof blower of all time, decent power, CFM’s are like mid 7-800’s so she’s stout but it’s super light like the echo 580 almost so I’ve been using that most of the time and I leave my 9510 aka gurthbrooks in the garage hanging up 😂

At first I was like is that really a tennis court lol. I wud shut the dang blocker door and blazed over that 3-4 laps with the mower and made it like 45 times less amount of leaves and then prolly kicked it off there, I hate blowing leaves with a passion and it’s impossible to gauge how long it’s gonna take so yes it’s usually a loser
