He didn't actually say anything mean or personal though. That was an example of a clown taking himself too seriously. You have to be able to laugh at yourself. You would have punched him in the face and ruined an otherwise beautiful wedding because you are self centered and you can't take a joke.

Look at the bride's face when the comedian says his band isn't gonna make it. It was definitely about the band. The guy has gone through life acting like his band is everything. He has borrowed money from his family for "the band" . That's probably why he got so offended.
