      Hi I jst saw this post did your have a number in front of the headmold bc I always thought the ones with another number other than the headmold isn’t authentic trying to see my original ws in a fire

      That's something I never thought of. Numbers on the head mold or something interesting to look up. I also lost my original cabbage patch dolls in a house fire.

    Thank you for the information! Very helpful in deciding which dolls to hang on to and which ones I can let go. Just want to give you a heads up - 1st - it could be confusing to some when you point out that many dolls were made in foreign countries after pointing out the positive of the doll being made in China, which is a foreign country. Also, when you say 'Original Applican' it should be Appalachian - a mountain system in eastern North America. Regardless, your video was a big help. Still have a few questions, so will watch for an expanded version one day. Good luck.

    I love what I have watched so far-- I have 4 NEW in the Box (never used) Cabbage Patch dolls-- one of the is a set of red haired twins, green eyes dressed in yellow satin dresses with gloves, lace tights, - and I'm hope to sell them all just not sure how to go about it.... all have signature on the bottom, all have their papers and tags - boxs are OK

    In the 80's I saw some dolls at woolworth that were quite simular but not original and I didnt know about cabbage patch kids at all. I showed my mum those dolls and said that I like them but of course she said no, it wasnt christmas or birthday.
    That years christmas brought me just that one doll that I showed her, with blue hair and she was the ugliest one in my opinion. She also had two left shoes because my mom recognized that shecwore only one shoe and picked one from an other doll, right the same as the doll had. But I really loved her.

      @Gamlver Před rokem

      @@tubeemup I was BORN in 1976 I also stated that WHEN I got mine I was 10 or 11 so that would put mine in the correct era bracket..I would have been 11 or 12i in the 80'se. I also stated that it was from the 1978-1982 era., so that literally makes it possible for me to have in that era (1978-1982) do the damn math before you claim someone is lying about when they received something

      Not sure if you still need help with this, but your doll is a vintage Cabbage Patch Kid from 1985 made in OK (Kader) factory. 1973 was when Xavier Roberts started his doll line, and 1983 is when the trademark was bought and mass market Cabbage Patch Kids were produced. You can also tell the year by the colour of the signature!
