    Thank you for this! I just got two 40+ year old cabbage patch dolls from an estate sale and I’m absolutely thrilled, but they were in the attic for years prior to the sale. I had a cabbage patch doll as a child & it was lost a long time ago, so I am absolutely thrilled to be able to gift my daughter them for her birthday!

    I have a Cabbage Patch pet that belonged to my daughter, and will be giving it to my aid's g-daughter. It barely needs cleaning, but I'd like to freshen it up a bit. I took a Mr. Clean sponge to her face, and it looks almost new. As I said, the doll barely needs any cleaning, and even though I did give her a good spray with Lysol, I think I'll give her a bath instead. I'd feel so much better if I did. Thanx for the post.

    Hi, thank you for posting this! Yes, the Grandma's Secret is amazing! I found your website a couple months ago and it helped me greatly in restoring (as much as I could) my two old Cabbage Patch dolls from when I was a kid. Yesterday I found at a flea market a pretty much exact twin of the one you have here in this video, but her toes and ankle on one foot and pretty much all her fingers on one hand are missing their stitches. I have found tutorials for the foot but I cannot find any kind of guide for restitching fingers. If you know how to do it and could include it in a video I would be very grateful. • @MandyWildman
      @MandyWildman  Před 2 měsíci +1

      It depends on the scratches - what caused them. If a scrubby with a bit of soft soap doesn't work, and they really won't budge, I may either get some foundation make up and try that to disguise them, or make her into a David Bowie or Halloween baby with makeup to hide the scratches. Hope this helps. 🤗

      Well I don't leAve them to soak underwater, but you're right - that should be a concern but I take sure to dry them very thoroughly in the dryer and outside on a sunny day. Pox is a symptom of the type of material used in a handful of factories you'd want to avoid if you're a collector.

I would do this multiple times - maybe 10 or more - and swish her hair around in the water. Be careful you don't burn yourself! When you're done, run her hair under warm water and wash with a little more dish soap, then rinse. This should do the trick. :-)
