Interesting change up on the art direction. I also like that you guys went with the "out of this world" slogan. Is that what you guys have been hearing from people? I was talking to a guy at the local hockey shop recently, and that's what he was thinking. He was surprised to find it was pronounced "morse" and was Per's last name :)
Can you guys go more into detail explaining how the steel profiles and the radius options work together with the Marsblades. What have you tried or experimented with? I know you have said just use whatever profile you like on the Marsblade steel, but to me that seems like a very vague answer when you basically have endless options with different profiles and all the Marsblade radius options. For example would it be too much to have a Bauer Zuperior profile that leans more to agility along side a smaller radius in the Marsblade? Just looking for a little guidance to find that perfect feel and get the most out of the skates. Thank you for any and all feedback.
Hi Michael, from my experience so far is that no one has felt a need to change their profile on the steel when switching to the I2s from traditional holders. So no, it's definitely not "too much" to have a Zuperior profile on the I2s. There will of course be players that maybe want to change but so far I haven't seen that at all. So to summarize you can see it as the technology just improving any steel profile so you get more out of it. Hope that makes sense. //Per Mars, Inventor
I'm enthousiast to test the new I2's!!! This summer with the R1 rollerhockey was a big game changing for me! But what a pitty that the design of I2 are not flashi blue! This is a big missed opportunity for marketing! If NHL players would have the I2, everyone would speak about it! Or is it not allowed to have colored ones?
Great to hear! Sounds like you are getting the most out of the work you are putting in. Appreciate the input on the color - we are certain the I2 will stand out just as much purely due to its performance benefits.💪
We're stoked to get the I2 on the ice! The Marsblade I2 steel is delivered with a 11 ft profile radius. To start, we recommend adjusting this to your current profile as this will not affect the performance benefits of the technology. Since the added Flow Motion Technology will give players a somewhat different experience depending on their skating style, you'll easily be able to swap between the 5 different Radius Inserts for the rocker to find the ideal setting to maximize your stride. As you get to experience the effect that our innovative technology has on your skating, you can also start to experiment with the profiling to your liking! 👊
@@Marsbladeofficial Cool thanks! Have any players that drive a lot of their motion from the heels given feedback on what setup they prefer(ie. profile and radius inserts)?
@@aseltzer22 You'll notice when you try them out that this is mainly up to personal preference. Some prefer the maximum rocker to get the most out of that extended ice contact whilst other prefer a more subtle rocker for just that extra boost! However, it sounds like you would enjoy one of the smaller radius inserts for a more prominent rocker - so make sure to try that out once you get the chance.

Hey a quick question for anyone, I'm an inline skater but of the more traditional 4x80 mm non rockered solid frame, SEBA urban carbon fibre skates. Not at all hockey blades. I used to play hockey though. I was just curious the learning curve with these? Is it hard to learn to get used to? As relative beginner?
For rollers, we offer both a more stable roller hockey skate (R1) for anyone looking for in-game performance, and our off-ice training skate (O1) which are intentionally more imbalanced to truly replicate the feeling and movement of skating on-ice. Both will provide a new skating feel and anyone using them will very quickly adapt and benefit from the more natural movement of the split-chassis design. Make sure to check out some of our customer reviews: www.trustpilot.com/review/marsblade.com In this video, you'll see our I2 holder where we've taken the Flow Motion Technology to the ice! This means maximum steel-to-ice contact throughout your strides and an ability to make tight turns as the blades rocker. Hope to see you on a pair of Marsblades soon! 👊
