  • This is version 2.0. This is a lightweight, compact EDC toolkit on the go.
===Knipex Pliers Wrench 125 and Cobra XS
===Wiha double sided bits (one of them focuses on Torx, the other focuses on hex). I bought both and put the duplicates in my shelf. This covers entire sets of bits imo.
===Steinwhale 10 in 1 Short Stubby (Get the adapter from here). It doesn’t work PERFECTLY with Wiha double-sided bits but it works good enough. If you want a more firmer lock on Wiha double sided bits get the Wiha CentroFix 1/4" Quick Release Bit Holder
===Topeak Rocket Lite DX, this is handy for giving you more torque for driving bits or sockets.
    ==Crescent Lufkin 1/4" x 6' Executive® Diameter Yellow Clad A19 Blade Pocket Tape Measure - W606PD
===Westcott ‎13867 --These are amazing tiny little scissors that weighs 0.25 ounces. They do better than my Vic scissors.
===VAC1071 Impact Driver, 7-in-1 Metric Multi-Bit Impact Flip Socket Set with Handle, Magnetic, 6 Hex Sizes and 1/4-Inch Bit Holder. This replaces a ton of bulky sockets. For the SAE version check out Klein.
    --Olight 13T EOS or 66318
==Wera 813R - This goes nicely with the Vaco flip sockets.
===Slice 10515. Love this boxcutter. Make sure it's the manual version.
===Oknife Oracle D1 EDC Titanium Screwdriver
===Victorinox Walker (discontinued). A 1 ounce saw with knife.
    ==PB Swiss block

The unsung hero of this is the PBSwiss bit block, probably the best bit holder you can get IMO. I must have about 25 of them! 🤣

You have such a great voice! Have you considered doing a podcast, or being on the radio?

Great EDC! It's great to see life differences shown in tools. I work with larger machinery so 180 sizes and Leatherman Charge is acceptable. As well as a Crunch for vice grips/replaceable saw. That ratchet is something I've never seen and looks great. Would be interested in seeing the torque it will take. A standard 10mm wrench reefing on it may break it. It may not be applicable to your needs so no stress. All in all very cool. Thank you for sharing.

Nice kit. We hava a lot of the same stuff. I managed to get the victorinox Walker just as it was discontinued - a real shame... The Huntsman is great and has scissors too! Although it is quite heavy

It's good to see that you're still adapting your kit. Never Stop : )

The issue I have with flip sockets especially with that adaptor is that anything close to an obstruction you can’t get to. This is especially an issue on vehicles. You are not saving much, if any, space with the adaptor and three flip sockets versus six regular 1/4 drive sockets (and really 5 because who needs 7mm on the regular). One tool I have found that I have not seen anyone actually review is the matador flip screwdriver. It is, I think, similar to what comes in German cars but has the 8mm and 10mm sockets in the handle. Sadly not available in the US.

I think I may have found a better option than the Topeak ratchet to pair with the Steinwhale extender/bit kit. Check out the aluminum Titan 11317 swivel ratchet bit driver. The steel one weighs over 3 oz but the aluminum (colorful) versions weigh less than 2 oz.

Which version of the Wiha bit reload kit did you get? I think that a combination of the Technician, and Industrial offers the most sizes, but there will be a lot of duplicates. Sadly, Wiha no longer offers the bits individually, if they did, you could get the Technician set, and just buy the extra hex ones.

  • @apistosig4173

The Tool Check Plus is awesome in concempt but - how many of those bits are worthy of an EDC? yeah you can swap 'em out sure but extras? ? /

  • @elduendeoscuro

If you like compact bits, look at wera 9506, and wera 9507

  • @jasonrouah514

Klein makes a shorter adaptor that should work with the flip socket, they sell it on its own with the 1/4 and 5/16 flip socket

  • @hunterdorroh

What were screwdriver handle is that? You never covered it in the video.

  • @ToySldr78

Is there a set of Wiha double sided bits that solely cover torx and another that covers hex? I can't seem to find that.

  • @jcov93

Will the Steinwhale double sided bits fit in the Wera 813r?

  • @pesymistik

    No sak rambler? 😊

  • @ShaunRGardner

Cracking a 13 mm bolt loose with that tiny ratchet? It’s going to break for sure.

    What pouch is this?

  • @fastandcurious

The Walker is too small for my hands. I always feared that it would slip away and tear into my hands when using the saw.
