Damn this Braves offense is atrocious. Don't send Olson home again unless it's a home run. That was painful to watch. He runs about as well as he hits these days.

Another embarrassing series loss for the Braves.
The Phillies gonna be a rough series for us too, the second game has Ranger Suarez against Schwellenbach so that’s definitely gonna be a loss, but I see the Braves getting swept in the series.

That was outstanding! The Giants showing some consistency. They are going to need it as some more tough teams ahead.
Well once again it’s more of the same issues. Offense is just inconsistent unfortunately, the two runs in the first and none the rest of the game, hard to win when you are unable to get above 2-3 runs a game. Not a great series loss obviously, pretty far back in the division but philly in town next for a big series, if we want to make up ground this is the time. Hope braves can bounce back. #ForTheA

I’m just glad people are starting to wake up and realize this is who this team is this year and not just a slump. We’re still gonna make the playoffs as a wildcard, and I’d be shocked if we even make it out of that, much less the NLDS.
We're not even making the wild card, real soon either the Mets or Nationals will be in second place

@@iuguy9911 no, they 100% deserve it. This isn’t anywhere close to the standard we have, and we’re going on 3 months of consistent crappy play.
We started the season 26-13. We have been 21-25 since. This is not a good team - and I'm going to say "right now" - (except the pitching), and if we don't get this righted SOON, the season may not be recoverable. If we don't take at least 2 of 3 from the Phillies this weekend with them missing Harper and Schwarber to the IL, there is no reason to consider this team as serious division contenders, much less a favorite for a Wild Card. This weekend is our season IMO. We get swept - we are done.

Feels like anytime the Braves get a runner in scoring position with less than 2 outs, the next batter is a guaranteed strike out just to make sure the runner doesn't even advance. Braves hitters can't even make contact when needed just to advance a runner let alone get hits to drive them in. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Braves need to get back to basics. If there's a runner on 2nd with no outs, the next hitter better be bunting, even Olsen at this point has a better chance moving the runner bunting. Play some small ball and just get some runs and wins to loosen everyone up
Logan Webb is superb. Doval thought to himself " no way I'm going to blow a save on my birthday! ".
That happens too often. Scores in the first inninng and after that none and lose the game. C'mon Braves, do better!

Given the situation (o outs in the inning and early in the game) it was an atrocious call. Decent chance of us having a big inning and possibly winning the game. No way to sugar coat it.

Yes I understand harris and acuna are missing........but we came into this season doing nothing to solidify our outfield or our lineup. We gained a great pitcher and lost one.
What did LA do? Oh nothing, just got the best player to ever play the game.

And Kelenic is an absolute stud…. Very few players can fill into a center field role.

Not very many options. The Braves could trade for one or two replacements like they did to win the world series. Or see if they have any prospects that are worth bringing up to play.

The Braves announcers were ridiculously anti-Giant. When you are doing a nationally broadcast game you don't root for the opposing team to fail as they did against Logan Webb. A couple of clowns who don't know how to do a national game. Atlanta should be embarrassed.
Sending Olson is also a sign showing a lack of confidence in their 'clutch hitting'.
