This was where I first watched league football way back in the 1960s. In '68 I went to live in Dortmund, West Germany, home of Borussia Dortmund; afterwards I moved to Salford so Saturdays were spent watching Best(when he turned up) Charlton and Law at Old Trafford. But you never forget your first love - Shrewsbury Town FC and Gillian Smith.

Good vid m8, for me personally I'm going to miss standing up in the Riverside so much, sitting down will "NEVER" be the same....gutted! But I suppose it's progress.

I always got in for free, dad counted the gate money from the mid 70's til when they moved ground, so from when i was like 4 (97-07) till 13, i always got in for free. the final game, and wembley was epic! shame our goal keeper came out, and that secured them winning, instead of us.

Been there a few times to see Chelsea back in the 80s. I remember one time a SHrewsbury fan was thrown in the river at the back lol. He didnt drowned unfortunatly.
