Thanks for sharing your thoughts - I did however grow up in Nairobi also and lived there for nearly 10 years of my life. To be honest, I prefer to hang out in all kinds of areas of the city, including South C and West Nairobi where I spent lots of my hanging out with some of my truly amazing Kenyan friends eating lots of nyama choma. Also the point is that despite our economic level, it's food and friendships that bring us together. This is not a vacation tourism video.
Mark Wiens i also used to live in south-c but only for four months.
Golden time 2011 in nairobi
Kenyans love you and count you as one of our own. Much respect brother and hope you are keeping safe
As a kenyan, I must say, I'm impressed at your fair representation of my city.
I must agree. I was there from 2008 to 2010 and loved every waking moment of it!
Haha, thanks for watching, glad to hear you love all these foods too. My stomach was fine, never had a problem in Nairobi, but I guess since I grew up there, my stomach is quite accustomed to the bacteria. Happy eating!

I was born and raised in South Africa, and what you said about the rich employing the poor, and the poor responsible for the churning of the economy is the same across Africa. Still such an incredible continent. With so much to offer, and wonderful amazing people.
