Dear Mike and Nicole, I wanted to thank you both from the bottom of my heart for this interview. When I started following the nuggets a few years ago thanks to my husband’s fandom, I would have never thought that it would lead to curing my back pain. I have been suffering from chronic back aches for the last 10 years. I had seen so many doctors, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, switched to new mattresses several times, and nothing seemed to help. My brother recommended the "healing back pain" book to me a year ago and I had inkling that it could apply to me, but I didn't know how to implement it into practice and the back pain just continued. Then I found your video. I started journalling the same evening, because I had a feeling that this might actually work, and even if not, I thought it would be a helpful practice. If it does help, I expected that it might take years, as was mentioned in the interview. However, I woke up without back pain for the first time in 10 years the very next morning. I could cry remembering how unbelievable it was. The relief I felt was incredible... You have no idea how much of an impact you and Nicole have had on my life. I cannot thank you both enough! Thank you so much for doing this work. I seriously would have never thought it would healed my back pain on the first day. Thank you so much. :’) Warmest regards from Germany

I was blown away by this video. The algorithm led me to your channel and through coincidence I started to watch this particular video. I had a completely different image of you from watching you play basketball. Never would I have thought you to have such a thoughtful CZcams Channel. It was such a joy to see that a professional athlete opens himself to new horizons. And in such a kind and humble way. Absolutely amazing!

What a great conversation. I do body work with the intention to bring awareness to the emotions causing the tension. As an athlete I love to work with athletes because we are built different physically and emotionally. I still manage low back, shoulder, and neck pain. It’s a dance

This was awesome, thanks. I've had a lot of treatment and done work for my own chronic pain and anxiety, which act as one, for about 15 years and all of this really struck home. I've been trying to understand the unexpected things that relieve or trigger them, which make more sense now. Knowing there's science and examples to follow rather than just continuing to try to figure it out myself gives me optimism they can be fixed. Seriously, thanks.

As always, fantastic pod cast! So interesting. I am a fan of Dr Andrew Huberman whose work on neuroscience is truly amazing and powerful. This speaks to the same type of work. Mpj, thanks for continuing to put out great content and to Ciera for her help and encouragement. (Assuming she still helps you with these).

Good episode, Mike. Highly recommend Greg Roskopf since you’re both in Denver. Greg developed Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) & he’s helped a lot of high level athletes like yourself as well as the everyday common Joe. Your buddy Peyton Manning was one of them who he helped & what ultimately led him to the Broncos.

the reason we are all sick is because our socialization practices are focused and based on emotion suppression. Emotions never lie, if we all were allowed from childhood to be in touch with our anger (emotion that loves u the most as it signals that your boundaries are being violated) they would not be able to control us and force us to conform.

Amazing episode! It articulates why, as a Christian, I cuss and advocate for living a Christlike life but actions and heart and not repressive rules. It touches on why, after a disabling car wreck only yoga (mind and body practice with a true healer) restored and elevated my body, and why I refuse to hold things in for the sake of positivity but instead believe in giving voice to wrongs and struggles to _release_ them. The body truly does keep the score ❤️‍🩹
