@Mark Bowden & Michael-I work in a male dominated environment where I often find people using poor communication techniques and not only constantly interrupting deliberately, but talking over me and other women-how would you recommend responding to this ? Any power responses to discourage this behaviour would be helpful too.
@@ceilconstante640 : once I went to HR after hearing another manager speaking badly about me to my employee. She turned it around and the company investigated me for being racist! (It was determined to be unfounded). The corporate work place is toxic. I was so naive

HR is never a good place to go under almost all circumstances!!

@@Sarahthompson2237 because they'll start to tag you as the problem person. They'll always support whoever makes the most money for the company.
HR is there to protect the COMPANY, not the employees!
