I enjoyed the video, I was born and raised on Kauai and those restaurants or establishments never existed during the 70’s and 80’s, nice to see new establishments around the island, my last visit to Kauai in 2017 & 18 I saw numerous new restaurants and the old ones were gone, I would have received the Tip Top Cafe in Lihue, it’s more modernized compared to what it was pre 2000’s.
I lived on Kaui and it looks like they have great restaurants now.

Directly across the street from Kalaheo coffee is brick oven pizza. Absolutely phenomenal pies. Seriously.
There’s also a spot in Waimea called the shrimp station. That’s a must as well.
I’ve never tried that shave ice spot. I’ve always been a JOJO’s guy, but next time I’m hitting it up for sure.
