I think The Last of Us 3 will come out in 2028 at the end of the Playstations 5's / PS5's life cycle! I am not saying Tlou3 is confirmed! We shall never know if it's on Ps5 or Ps6 or if it tlou3 happens at all you get me? Neil Druckmann and Naughty Dog, they the main players I guess, well offcourse Sony and Playstation yeah. We probably will have a the last of us 3 trailer at a PSX event in 2025ish and the last of us part 3 will probably come out around 2028 if it where to happen, but you never know. I can picture the fireflies going to Europe or ateast the goal being traveling to Europe with Ellie,Abby,Lev and Possibly Dina and Tommy. allthough I would expect Dina to want to stay with J.J at Jackson Wyoming. I imagine a big almost open world game with hordes. Maybe Abby with a chainsaw, Ellie on a Helicopter with a minigun. NPC Enemies too and hopefully a new Boss battle Infected type bigger than the Rat King which we got in the last of us part II, so yeah basically tlou 3 if it happens I picture it being bigger and better.

The HBO show will give writers the opportunity to add more to the original game, such as the parts that happened in between seasons (Before every big season jump like how it went from Summer to fall in one part). This gives them more stories to tell. The entire “The Last of us Part 1” plot may take 2 seasons.

In fact I think this relates more to the "vaccine". The text "Said he come to save the world from destruction and pain" continues with "but I said how can you save the world from itself". See, Joel never really cared about the world. He only cared about Ellie, even if the world around them crumbled. Its the "vaccine" that promised saving, but lets be honest - in this dying, decaying world, what will a vaccine change?
Ashley did an incredible job. I love that Neil told her to not sing at her prettiest voice to give it a more struggle voice sound in the song, it fits more with the content

I could be wrong but I think she had to do some voice training for this, since it's hard to change your singing voice like that and still make it sound good and authentic. Either way Ashley did so good, she was amazing.

Its also amazing how ashley had a voice coach to teach her how to sing more like ellie as a character rather than herself because she is a trained singer since she was young so she has amazing tone,pitch and control that you can hear in some of her other covers from years ago but as ellie she sounds untrained. Anyways i love ashley and she has an amazing voice singing wise and acting wise.

This line fits perfectly the core theme of the entire franchise. And this is one of the things that set it apart.
All external threats are just the backdrop for this world, even the Infected, in which the characters reside. The true battle is fought on the emotional and moral battlegrounds of people. Sure, humans know how to save themselves from The Infected and other superficial threats, but how will they save themselves from themselves, their own nature.
Just as Bill said, "The thing about them is that at least they're predictable. It's the normal people that scare me."
Throughout the whole game, it is hinted that real trouble are the leftover humans. From Pittsburgh hunters to the Cannibal Rapist Dave. Sure I was shit scared while fighting a bloater, but nothing was as chilling as Dave's Boss Fight.
During the end of Part One, Fireflies thought they could save the humanity from Cordyceps, but what they didn't know was that they couldn't save it from itself, its own human nature. The nature which sends a man on a killing spree, murdering an entire hospital and sabotaging all hope for the world.
Infected are scary, but they're hardly the main threat. This is even more evident in Part 2. The game is all about human nature and the Infected sort of fade into the background for the most part.
You're absolutely right. My biggest fear in the whole game came from the SCARS. They're terrifying! People are extremely unpredictable, and that's what makes them so dangerous.

The "savior" here is the Fireflies. So, it was a wise decision for Joel to keep Ellie alive.
@@arenryven3007 A cure would be pointless 20 years into the apocalypse since a cure would save no one. Even if their small team of researchers somehow make one, how could they possibly manufacture and distribute it to those who need it?
And even if it kills all the infected, that would not stop the humans to keep on killing each other.

I won’t argue for their efforts. It is their game and they worked hard on it. It really isn’t my place to say they messed up. With that being, despite how well they did with the game, I just personally don’t like the direction it went. Was way too depressing and going through the story felt like a chore. It is actually almost hard to play the first game without thinkIng about this game.

Maybe they could make the next game a prequel detailing Ellie's mom, Anna (with Ellen Page playing Anna for fairly obvious reasons). That'd be interesting. And possibly be a way to avoid having people make senseless complains about the story out of bias and immaturity.

Every time I listen to this song I get chills, even thinking about what Ellie went through.
My first playthrough of this game left me broken, hollow, and lost much like Ellie but then in my second; it was as if the game itself gave me closure. I was able to fully understand it more. Find some parts I missed, remember some parts I forgot, finally put it to rest, and come out the other end with a hint of hope, however small, just like I'm sure Ellie and Abby did too. This game was a masterpiece to me and I'll never forget it!
Same Man , after I finished first time , I was fucked up emotional , I was thinking a whole week after I finished it first time either to play it again or not , and I did it , but the end felt different, kinda good and with a Little bit of Hope left for all the characters to repair or to to do what it needs to be done. This game means a lot to me , and If a game make You feel Like the characters in that game every single moment , to make You feel happy, sad , mad , angry , sad again, in a row , then If You ask me , The Last Of Us Part 2 , didn't got the GOTY and the most awards ever for no reason , or because Naughty Dog asked its sugar daddy Sony to play for votes

It's not that it was trash the game was amazing. It's that 1. It was way too short cause the first game was longer 2. Tlou2 lied to us about Joel being alive so that Fucked it up off rip and after that people already didn't like the game

@@jaymercer4566 Different values for different people. I didn't mind that because it added to the shock of the scene, which was clearly the intent. It felt wrong and bad which is what makes you sympathise with Ellie's rampage.
Then the game turns the tables and shows that contrary to how most games make it out to be, the people you're killing are just people, and you're going around perpetuating numerous tragedies. It's a sort of deconstruction of the murderhobo style of game where you tear through thousands of mooks, bosses and main characters without thinking about their friends or family.
Although the ending with the slavers seemed a bit tacked-on to me. They did all that work to establish the "Two sides to every story" narrative then undid it by introducing a load of unapologetic twats.

@@greatorder I would've been fine with it if they at least went all the way through before Ellie realized what she had done. To kill all of those people, and for what? She didn't even kill Joel's murderer. I mean, sure Abby avenged her father, but that doesn't mean she's now even and impune from death. I find Ellie's sudden change of heart out of character.

Wow this is the best video i have ever seen made for these games. I have probably spent over a thousand hours in these games. Started it on ps3, ps4 pro, and ps5. I actually love these actors now. And miss them after not playing a while. This game showed me emotions i didn't know i had. Im 44 years old been gaming since atari. And i give these games number 1 of my lifetime. This almost brought tears to my eyes. I got really into these games. 1st time playing it i had my kids and whole family watching me play it. All in tears within the first 20 minutes. They rushed me back on everyday after i got off work. Just to see what happens. And continued when part 2 came out...as a family. This video does these games justice. I love it. Whomever made it thank you.

I noticed that you put Joel in the video for this verse, but I think it fits a lot more to Abby's father, or Marlene. Afterall, they were the ones talking about a cure to save humanity.
I thought it was cool that they left it out in the first place to add it in now, because (and please avoid spoilers 'cause I haven't played Pt. II yet) what I took from TLOU is "What's the point?" You get more human blood on your hands than Infected throughout the whole game, which suggest that all told, humans are the biggest problem, and we can't save the world with ourselves in the way.
Gergely Takács that's a very interesting point. I think you're right. However, Joel is still a decent fit as he is the one who was faced with the choice of saving the world from destruction and pain by allowing creation of a vaccine, or saving the world from itself by preserving its humanity.

shawn james (the man who is the original singer of this song) released a “remaster” of sorts of this song about a month or 2 ago, i encourage whoever enjoyed this to go check it out
The lead-up to this game’s launch was so crazy, this teaser, all the trailers and and the gameplay reveals, they were so hype to me. I remember siiting there, watching anything i could find of this game to the point were i could recite the lines by heart. I bought the game day 1 and finished it a week later. I wish i could erase my memory and play it again for the first time because i absolutely loved it. Now when i see videos like these and hear the soundtrack, i get so nostalgic even though its only been a few months😭 thank you Naughty Dog, and to everyone that loved the game as much as I do, May your survival be long and May your death be swift

I wonder if this replaces wayfaring stranger or maybe it alternates songs, randomly. Saw someone on the Reddit post say they got Joel signing future days so maybe it changes depending on your difficulty. Maybe i will have to actually sit through the entire credits next time, since i've only done that twice both before the update.
It does. On permadeath you get this, any diffuculty. On grounded U get Future days by Joel. I'm too trash for grounded so i asked a person if I can use their recorded credit audio and make a edit with, I mean they don't the music etc so ye 😂 Still polite to ask

This song hits really different if you look out the window when its raining and lightning strikes. Goosebumps all over. I finished this masterpiece 12 times already but every time i hear even one second from a soundtrack it makes me boot up my console and *do it all over again* ;)
Im so excited for Part 1 Remake and especially Part 3. Its so hard to explain the feeling you get when you picture yourself playing the next one. Same feeling i had picturing myself playing Part 2. It felt so surreal once that day came. Naughty Dog really did something amazing with these two games. Im soo grateful i was born in a time where i can experience such works of art.
Just as i did with TLOU2, i have a really good feeling about Part 3.

it's been 2 months since this game changed my life, wow this was too intense, man this game moved me in a way I can't even explain.
For me the best game in history, these people who didn't like it obviously didn't understand the game's proposal nor the story. This for me was the best plot I've ever seen in a game, better than a lot of movies there.
I hope you have a part 3 to close the cute story, in about 4 years. Or maybe a game we would play in those early years of the outbreak, with an inexperienced Joel and Tommy, would be great. Anyway best game in history Goty sure🔥🔥🔥
I liked it as well, but I think that one of the best stories in a game I've ever played was still Night in the Woods by a long shot. This is a distant second for me.

It's going to be hard to watch HBO's take on this story since we're so attached to Ashley and Troy's portrayals of Ellie and Joel plus many other cast members. But I can hardly wait!

What hurts us most is that Ellie would be reconciled to Joel, would call him to see a movie and make up. And then Joel dies the next day like that without suddenly saying goodbye to Ellie, and a lot of people complained about Joel's death, but his death makes perfect sense.
In a world like The Last, anyone can die like that suddenly he obviously wouldn't die as a hero, he always said he was just a survivor. And that's it in this game, there are no heroes or villains, just flawed people wanting to survive, The last one is about people, because poppers are predictable and follow patterns, but humans are the great danger to real monsters, they are unpredictable and they can betray at any time, for me no game will surpass The last or score me as much as The last scored. This game is great first it makes you hate Abby for killing Joel, but then it makes you understand her reasons, you put yourself in her place, the game makes us see that Abby is kind protective and has fears is human. I think that if God descends a second chance to everyone I think everything should happen the same, everything that happened was necessary for the development of each character. I think Joel was right to save Ellie, just as Abby was also right (it hurts to admit it, but it's true) I also think Ellie was "right" to seek revenge after all, it was necessary for her development as a person.
And that's it dude The last 2 is about love and acceptance, Ellie accepting that Joel left, ends the game and that's fantastic. For me, the best game I've ever played and watched in my life and I have no doubt that this will be the game of the year and most likely the best game of the decade (who knows history) just like its predecessor. Imagine when this work of art becomes a series on HBO, I really wanted a third game but I think the story is already very well tied with these two games but maybe a The last 3 in about 5 years, maybe a game with Abby and Ellie or maybe a game with Joel again.
I don't think I'll ever get over Joel's death, and it's amazing the quality that Naughty Dog has, because they managed to make us like the characters as if they were our relatives, Joel was the guy who made gnt awaken the urge to want protect someone, he’s a father and a man everyone wanted to be.
